Camp Guyasuta was very earthy! Plenty of nature all around. The camp area is clean with adequate signage to guide you around. Staff members were friendly. Not much parking inside the camp itself. I enjoyed viewing the horses and viewing the large pumpkin. My child really enjoyed zip lining through the woods. The camp fire was burning bright and kept my family farm on a chilly. This camp is definitely a hidden gem back behind Sharpsburg. It is a safe and fun place to explore.
Beautiful one hour roundtrip hike up a ravine to a waterfall. Flowers galore. Abundant picnic areas and restrooms. Access might be restricted in summer during camping activities.
Great summer camp for boys and girls. Put down the iPad! My daughter came home a little dirty, tired, and was excited to tell me about her day.
I was very impressed once we figured out where to go. It's extremely well kept. The restrooms were heated and had running water. There were water bottle fill stations. Tons of activity spots. Gaga ball, human foosball, basketball, swimming pool, Zipline and an impressive high ropes course were all in easy walking distance. The camp master was extremely nice, informative and helpful. He didn't get frustrated with all of our questions which our group had lots. Our group was very impressed and would love to visit again.
I found a postcard of this boy scout camp at a bookstore in Oakland on Craig Street and then I went to go find it and I walked around at the entrance there were campers there there was a stream there were horses I wish I would have gone inside I bet there's a swimming pool in there too maybe I can go for a swim there someday
Wonderful little gem of a camp. It's like a TARDIS - It's larger on the inside!!
Went for a graduation party.Never been here before but it's a nice little area tucked away in Sharpsburg.
Be prepared to hoof it - no driving in camp. An interesting slice of wilderness right in city limits.
Amazing place! I was able to do the team activities, low ropes course, and Zipline! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do the high ropes course as my group ran out of time. 100% would recommend it for everyone, all ages can do it!! The STAFF are so kind and helpful! Wish I could've stayed longer!
Awesome place for team building activities and outdoor sporty fun!
