It's been overhauled but I'm so happy they left most of the abandoned buildings intact. They did take down the horse stable that caught on fire which is where the road is now and the cafeteria building. Everything else, to my knowledge, is still there. New additions include new bathrooms, a paved parking lot, and a fishing dock. The old boat launch is still there if you want to go kayaking. Just be careful of where you walk.
Very nicely redone public park with a public fishing pier, only one on the lake!
Great place to go for a short hike. So glad this place is open to the public.
Very peaceful. Lovely park.
