My families go to/ favorite campground to just go and relax! There are two or three waterfalls nearby driving distance and the river is the best part and the reason everyone loves it! And the views of course haha
We have a wonderful family weekend We recommend quite, clean restrooms beautiful views, trails and rivers We recommend
Quiet campground near river but the campground roads are in need of repair. Lots of big potholes but SUVs should have no trouble getting around the loop.
Group sites are big and has great amenities like flushing toilets and a sink. Went on the last week of September and it wasn't unbearably cold, nice temperature, an hour away from the General Sherman Tree so if you are going to see the Sequoias know that it is a bit far. Nice waterfalls and trails nearby.
Great campground with clean restrooms and beautiful views! My only complaint is that it needs some maintenance. The fire rings, the roads, and parking lots are in need of some repair. Great for groups and by reservation only, so prepare accordingly.
Loved this campground. Since it was a group campground, each site was large and accessible. The facilities were good and over all it was positioned in a really great place. I look forward to going back.
Pretty location with great views of the canyon. Close to river with easy access. Takes reservations for group sites. 3 bins with overflow and plenty of parking and we'll spaced sites. Dogs ok! Short drive to trail heads, water falls, Boyden cavern, the store, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
Great campground for groups with multiple tents. Clean restrooms with tp. There are 3 food boxes plus 2 additional for extra in just about every site. The river is near by with breath-taking views of the canyon.
It's just beautiful. Even though its a longer drive, it usually isn't as packed as the campsites that are closer to the main entrance to the park. And of course the views are just majestic.
Nice secluded campground with plenty of shade and clean restrooms, showers are 1 mile away at cedar grove village....only 1 negative, lots of mosquitoes
