Not sure what’s the name of the receptionist but here’s my honest review. I was calling to see if they accept new patients and if they accept uninsured. I had problems with my connection so I tried to ask if I was calling the right location since they have multiple offices in carroll county. She started to gain an attitude towards me, when I asked what is the sooner appointment she said they’re book until September, so I asked about the prices I have 7 years working for the medical system and billing and I’m sure of the prices a lot of facilities have for the uninsured. The lady said that it was 400-500 dollars a physical which in the urgent care is $165 and she told me you should go to access carroll for more flexibles plans. Now I never mentioned anything about how crazy the prices are but her assuming I was not able to pay it and being like you might just go to access carroll to me was absolutely rude.

Emily Sumner is our family doctor and she is wonderful with my kids 1, 4 & 8. She is very knowledgeable and willing to Take to mind suggestions or take a minute to look into things instead of dismissing us and going on her way. The office staff has always been very kind and gets messages sent fast and efficient. Great doctor!!!

I was a patient in the Taneytown office but it has closed. I had my first visit since March and met with Dr. Couch. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything I needed to know. The nurses were amazing as well. Will be back in January. I hope he is still there.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I went in today to fill out new patient paperwork for my daughter. The lady at the window was nice at first, but when I went to hand in the paperwork she asked why I was switching physicians. She was upset with me for the reason that I stated and I thought was very rude. I would like to say that it was also not her business to ask; however, I did answer her... I don't know if it is because my daughter has MCHIP or what, but if you don't want business from people with state insurance then take your information down off the site. No one should walk into a physicians office and be made to feel unwelcome. So if you are into being belittled by all means go to this practice. Otherwise, RUN! There are plenty of other practices in the area with way better reputations.

Just moved to the area. We have 3 teenage/preteen girls. I have ongoing health issues. Dr. Couch has been great so far. The whole family really likes him and feels comfortable with him.
