This office is great! Cassandra the office manager is excellent at what she does. We have been going here as a family for the last 3 years and from the first time we went she has displayed professionalism, kindness and efficiency. The office staff is friendly and make your visit pleasant. The dentist and hygienist we have seen have been gentle and professional and take pride in their work. We have been to many dentist offices over the years and this is the best by far.
The best experience I have had with dentistry. For someone with dentistry Phobia, my anxiety was almost to none. A very gentle dentist and experienced. I don’t recommend this place if you don’t have insurance because their prices seem utterly outrageous. Even with insurance seems unreasonable to charge 3000.00 to extract a wisdom tooth. Although, I know that dental work is expensive but the price just seems excessive compared to other dentist offices. I will definitely look into other dentist in my network and compare prices. It just seems egregious to send people in bankruptcy for a wisdom tooth extraction ‍. Overall, the dentist is experienced!
I had a chipped front tooth so you know that need attention quickly. Dr. Jacinto explained the procedure and went to work. I was very satisfied with my results. She was very gentle and cared about my satisfaction .
Great experience from the moment I walked in the door. Doctor very honest and knowledgeable and does great dental work. Would definitely recommended this office to friends and family! Thanks for everything
Positive: The assistant who explained the after-care procedure was nice. Location convenient, well-lit, procedure didn't take long. Toys available if you have a little kid in the waiting area. Negative: Took my daughter there to have dental surgery. Front desk assured me twice that her pain and antibiotics would be sent to the pharmacy nearest my home. When we got there, that wasn't the case. Had to drive 30 minutes to a different pharmacy + 30 minutes back home again before I could get her settled - very inconvenient. They were apologetic, but after checking with someone twice, it's not acceptable. Also, I had a child in the waiting area with me and there was an inappropriate movie playing on the TV.
Original phone call to receptionist Dana, she is very polite and informative, I have not experienced that kind of customer service wo in a long time. My first visit, everyone including other staff and Dr. Wistrom was excellent in explaining in detail my treatment and why. I will keep my appointments and let others know how wonderful Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry take care of their patients. Grateful, D. Luster
Great experience from setting appointment to visitation complete. Everyone provided exceptional service. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and prompt.
I went to Cedar Hill 24 hrs later I became ill. I recalled my activities and the only place I went. The staff is not courteous, when you walk in you have to speak to them, they don't have greet you. Customer service is very impressive and I just don't see it with the front staff or the young x-ray tech. When you're working with people , you have to take you out of it. Put the customer first, you're not doing them a favor serving them, they are doing you a favor by choosing your company.
If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Michael the so called dentist scam me. I went in because I was having tooth pain when I got the X -ray the young lady said looks like your wisdom teeth coming in, but she stated I am not the dentist so lets see what he says. Michael looks at my teeth in says I need a deep cleaning that is what is causing the pain. Now 6months before this Michael said I needed a deep cleaning, but at that time I had no pain. Now when I made my appointment I advised them I headache and ear ache so Michael knew this but he still said I needed a deep clean so I said ok lets do it. I spent over 1k. I thought I was not going to feel anymore pain because Michael is a dentist and he suppose to know why I am feeling pain in my teeth, right, well wrong. Got me deep cleaning and left I was still feeling pain but I thought it was from the work I had done, but after 2 weeks I was still in pain, taking Ibuprofen every 4 hours. So I called back to schedule another appt I advised that I am now in more pain. I go to Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry for my second appt about the exact same feeling I had been feeling for the 1st appt but pain has gotten worst. Michael comes in and says oh you have headache and ear ache those are sign of your wisdom teeth coming in Well go figure he checks me out and says SEEMS your wisdom teeth are coming in He said seems, as though he was still not 100% sure what the issue was Then gave me a quote of over 2k. I feel Michael should have did his due diligence to check in see where my pain was coming from and then allow me to make a decision if I wanted to go with deep cleaning or remove my wisdom teeth. The 1k I spent could have went towards the wisdom tooth removal in I would not be in so much pain. Like Oprah documentary The Color of Care on how people of color suffer from systemically substandard healthcare in the United States and this experience definitely made me feel this way and SCAMMED
An appointment got set incorrectly. I went through a who treatment plan when I only needed ortho. The prices treatment prices were ridiculous. Then they send a sales woman in to give you the price of the treatment. I had several treatments done in the past 3 months and in total did not equal to the amount they wanted me to pay for a crown. This is ridiculous.
