If I could give this place a 1 star I absolutely would. This was my 1st time here. I was sent many emails and text messages to arrive early to this appointment in which I arrived at 1:15p to be seen at 1:30. Didn’t get called back until 2p. Did x-rays. Talked with the dentist in regards to my future treatment plans and was left in the room with no communication of what’s going on for 45 min. This is unacceptable. I chose to leave without receiving my cleaning. This is truly A doc in the box situation. They play with your time and seem to not care. I spoke with Nate who is the office manager in regards to how terrible this establishment is. Should’ve known better than to go to a place that’s plastered on every billboard in Dallas.
The customer service experience has greatly declined. They used to be quick to get you seen and now have you wait a while. The cleaning care kits are now a plastic baggie with tiny samples. They don’t even have dark glasses to wear like they advertise. I wanted to schedule my next visit and the office manager said she’d call me in 30min because she was short staffed but there were no patients waiting at that time and she never called. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. This has turned into any other dental clinic.
I've been to location a few times for cleanings, and this was my best visit. Hygienist Ashley quick, efficient, and nice. I honestly paid for a deep cleaning the prior visit before and was disappointed. Still left with issues a normal cleaning should have corrected. But this visit definitely made up for it. Thank you
Came in for my scheduled visit and less than 30mins later was heading home! Check-in, x-rays, exam, cleaning, and check-out were handled professionally with a smile and efficiently. Thank you MINT- Cedar Hill for maintaining my pearly whites!
They tried to Overcharge me...and lied about my coverages. They made up there own prices and out of pocket pay. I went to another dentist the next day and was told and showed that I have 80% coverage on major procedures and 60% in minor. They told me extraction s wasn't covered so it would be $422. It is indeed covered. 80% of it is covered. I asked for stronger meds as the decay was on the nerves. They told me no...the only fix was to get treatment. Not to mention the lady handling the financial wasn't smart enough to move so that I didn't see or hear her condescending conversation about me to the not so friendly DR. Straight crooks!
I really had a good experience with mint dr Williams was awesome can you please keep him in the cedar hill area he made me feel real comfortable and I didn't feel any pain I give him 5 stars
I have been a MINT patient for about 6 years. I continue to go, because I haven't taken time to find a new dentist, but it has gotten progressively worse, especially starting two years ago, coincidentally, this was about the time that Jeff, my regular hygienist, and Dr. Brown, a great dentist, moved on. I had some cosmetic dentistry done many years ago, and they have scraped it away several times, even chipping a small part of my actual tooth from scraping away the resin. They have repaired it twice. The third time, I'm just over it and didn't even bother to ask. Two years ago, they told me that I had three surface cavities. Cavities are unusual for me, especially since I stopped bleaching my teeth. But I took their word for it and let them fill my teeth. After that, I couldn't eat on one side of my mouth at all--it was so uncomfortable. They did inform me that my bite could be off after the fillings & they did provide this information before the fillings. I had to go in three more times to try and get my bite corrected. The third time, they told me that I had exhausted my annual dental benefits. I argued politely that it was because they messed up my bite with the fillings. They did the best they could correcting the bite, and did not require me to pay anything out of pocket. It took a couple of months for my bite and my mouth to fill normal again. My most recent visit was yesterday. I have one remaining wisdom tooth. They always tell me I should get it out, but I say it doesn't bother me, and they usually move on. A couple of years ago, I was planning to go ahead and get it extracted, and they told me they could do it there. I chickened out though and didn't have it done. So on yesterday's visit, before my cleaning, the dentist came in, examined my teeth, told me everything looked good, told me I had no cavities, did not mention the wisdom tooth. This was a dentist I had not seen before. There seems to be a new one each time I go. While the hygienist was cleaning, she mentioned the wisdom tooth and asked if I had been told I needed to get it out. I said yes, and she said it had a cavity. I asked her to tell me more, because that was the first I'd heard of having a cavity on that tooth. She said she couldn't tell me more but could ask the dentist to, the dentist that didn't mention it in the pre-exam. So the dentist came in after the cleaning and examined and said she did see a small cavity. I asked if it was on my last X-ray or if it had developed since then, which was taken at my visit 6 months prior, and she said the X-ray didn't have that tooth included, so she didn't know. What?!?! Why is my insurance paying for incomplete X-rays. She told me I needed to get the tooth out because it was going to drift. I told her it doesn't bother me. I've had the tooth for 25 years. She said she would refer me to an oral surgeon. Remember, above I said they told me they could extract it there, but now they wanted to refer me to an oral surgeon. At this point, I don't even know if the tooth actually has a cavity, because the dentist said "no cavities" in my pre-exam, but then said there was a cavity only after the hygienist told me, which she apparently wasn't supposed to do, but it wasn't her fault I don't think. She assumed that I had been told previously. Anyway, I'll be looking for a new practice.
Everything about the experience was nice, smooth and kind. From walking into the office and being greeted by Jackie at the front desk who helped me with my onboarding paperwork, to SanJuana the RDA who genuinely cared for me and answered any questions I had. She was great! Made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. G Li, then dentist who saw me was extremely nice, knowledgeable and patient with me as well. She even told me that some of my smaller cavities could be saved if I used a stronger toothpaste and gave me a prescription for it. Lastly, the hygienist, Leslie. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I love her. Never had a cleaning so gently done yet thorough. So glad I came to MINT Dentistry. Oh I can't forget about the manager, Ms. Tarsha, she explained my pending treatments so well and helped me understand the financial aspects of it all.
I'm beginning not to like this location at all. I came in for a routine cleaning. They informed me of some extra work I needed for cavities and my wisdom teeth. Well after the cleaning I waited for a Dr. to come talk to me about possible treatment and what to expect. It's 30 minutes later no one showed up just as I was about to walk out a lady showed up walk me to the counter still no info on what to expect if I get the treatment. The lady that was at the counter kind of rushed me away saying they will give me a call after looking at my X-ray.LETS SEE IF I GET A CALL. That was so unprofessional and annoying.
I had an amazing experience at the Cedar Hill TX location on 3/27/23. From the Front Desk staff triple 5-star to the Dental Assistant /Hygienist and Dentist triple 5-star. The Front Desk staff were SUPER pleasant, patient and accommodating. Then extraordinary Victoria, the Dental Assistant, called for me to Xray, examine and clean my teeth followed by Dr Ji’s review. Victoria was was absolutely EXCELLENT! I can’t say how many times I thanked her and she sd “this is what we all do”. And she is right. At my last visit 9/2022, the service was great…even with short staff. At any rate, I am VERY happy about this recent visit and I will be sharing my experience with family, friends and others. Kudos to the Cedar Hill Texas location! I look forward to seeing you all the next time.
