A center of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF), CP3 leverages HJF’s vast capabilities and longstanding relationship with military medicine to create partnerships that address some of today’s most pressing issues for our Service Members, Veterans and their Families. The Center acts as a conduit through which civilian health care providers, private industry and others outside the uniformed services and VA can join together to help the military and VA medical systems bridge gaps through the provision of additional expertise, funding or other resources. These diverse partnerships are designed to bring the best science to bear for Warriors, regardless of whether the talent and resources reside within the military, VA or civilian sectors.
HJF’s Center for Public-Private Partnerships (CP3) improves long-term service member and veteran wellness by providing strategic and innovative guidance to community-based organizations and coalitions. CP3 connects them to key local, state and federal healthcare stakeholders, resources and experts to collaboratively harness the abilities of all to more effectively assist reintegrating veterans and their families.
CP3 engages the public and private communities building partnerships through three main programs:
1. Heroes of Military Medicine Awards & Dinner
2. USU-HJF Military Medicine Symposium
3. Bridge Home Initiative
