At Check Please Cafe we offer a customizable menu where you can design your own meal by checking the boxes on the sheets at your table. We also offer a full menu to choose from.
We are passionate about a real-food approach and cook with real butter, have pancakes from scratch with real maple syrup, all salad dressings are house made, and real sausage gravy, fresh cut fries, and more!
We are proud to feature quality foods from many local Ohio suppliers such as Hartzler Dairy, T.L.Keller Meats, Red Cedar Coffee, and Cowhaus Creamery.

Ooh I love me a good breakfast spot and this place delivers. They have a customizable build your own menu for several different offerings and it just makes life so much easier. They offer an array of coffee too. There are lunch and dinner options too. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This is definitely a spot worthy of frequent visits.
Dana was an excellent host for my sisters and I. [She is the master of coffee and Chai beverages!] The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious and the staff is awesome. One sister had the October special Salisbury Steak and gave it a great review. One sister had country fried steak and eggs, another great review. One sister chose to create an omlette breakfast with another great review. I had the strip steak medium rare, with green beans and mashed potato, properly prepared steak and again delicious. Parking: The restaurant was half full and the lot was about half full. It was Sunday so there's a chance more folks were meeting at the restaurant.
Delightful. Great food, incredibly friendly staff. “Build your own“ options for breakfast all day, sandwiches, salads, entrees make it easy to get what you want. Nice seasonal specials “fair food” in August included some good fresh lemonade. Busy at lunch time on a Friday, quoted us a 20-minute wait for party of 4, but got us seated in less than 10.

Have always had good food. Everything fresh and purchased locally. Waitstaff very friendly and accommodating. Cater to many dietary needs. Keto, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. What more could you possibly ask for? Oh, did I mention the awesome prices! Can't beat em! Don't miss out. Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free.
one of our favorite spots in town, the make your own is always our favorite. Everything is delicious and the service is always top notch. From walking in to getting our food is always extremely quick.Food: 5/5
Really awesome place! Large menu and weekly specials. We only waited about 20 minutes, it is a small place and so can feel a little cramped when it's busy but our service was quick and friendly. I especially like that they make a commitment to fresh and healthy ingredients. Definitely will be back!Food: 5/5
This was my first time here and I was ready for a good burger that I've been hearing about. You make up your own Burger so I made a doozy. 1/2 pound with a pretzel bun couple different kind of cheese lettuce tomato the works. Also a small bowl of papakash and fries. The inside of the place is awesome and they look like they take a lot of pride in what they do. You never know what to expect when you go out and eat but I can honestly say one thing the food was outstanding and I will come back.
What a hidden jewel! We had the build your own pasta and everything was excellent! Perfectly seasoned and fresh ingredients. Vikki was our server and she was such a sweetheart. Check this place out you won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
