I brought my very imaginative 9 year old here during our vacation to New Orleans. He had a great time as well as my 14 year old my husband and I. It was fun to interact with fun storybook characters. We explored the whole storyland and had a great time. There was quite a bit to explore as well as fun little facts and stories to read along the way. Price for entry: $6.00
They're closed on Mondays, the one day I had off during my work trip to New Orleans. I so badly wanted to go inside. But the place looks magnificent. I am a child at heart and was delighted to find a place like this, IF ONLY THEY HAD BEEN OPERATIONAL THAT DAY. I do hope to make it back to New Orleans one day and visit.
My kids wanted to attend so we took a trip down. It's very worth the price, which is very low, and the children had a lot of fun. I did too. It does need a little makeover as some of the statues are older, but still a very fun place to explore.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entry$6–10
Storyland was such a fun little attraction. We were on vacation and figured this would be a funny place to get some selfies. Obviously this is meant for kids but as adult women we had a blast!
Colorful storyland a small place built for kids. They have sculptures of the famous rhymes & stories where kids explore and play around. Picture perfect location!! It has 2 slides and a train ride.
You must bring your kid here if you go to new Orleans! It's $6 to get in, or free with entry to amusement park. 10 or under is going to LOVE otVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
Amazing place to go you can easily spend hours here and enjoy yourself price is pretty cheap to get in its about 30 bucks for me my wife and 3 kids
Fun for kids and adults with kids. I can with my friend who has a toddler under 2. For this of us without kids, at least they have a cooler fridge with beer & wine that you can take with you as you walk through the park! It was also fun for me, yes even without the beer. I definitely recommend it for anyone with smaller children and if you need your kids to get their energy out. It does cost to get in, I don’t know how much but it isn’t a lot. There is only one story book scene that was too big for our toddler that’s under 2 and that was the jack & the bean stalk. It is a jungle gym that goes about 4 stories high and then has a winding slide going down. We thought about going with her but it was a popular one for the older kiddos so it would be too much for a small toddler under 4.
Cool place! I got to see alot of my favorite childhood characters, 6 year old loved it so much she didn't want to leave!
I love Storyland at City Park. This was our 2nd visit an it did not disappoint. They have added things since the last time we went. We spent a few hours playing and taking pictures. Both my children enjoyed it. My girls are 6 and 2. Also, a word of wisdom, the dragon slide is fast. Don't let it fool you. I wish my hometown had something remotely as beautiful or awesome for the children to enjoy.
