Great Lawn At City Park

Lovely green space near Cafe Du Monde, botanical gardens, amusement park. Plenty of benches to sit and rest your feet. Space to throw a frisbee, kick a ball, have a picnic.

Amazing place to bring your family, friends, pets, and enjoy the whole day.

A nice place to visit. Beautiful trees, flowers, ducks, and geese. My dog loved walking around the area with me.

Great place to be every second Saturday of the month.

FIA does a HIIT workout here every Saturday. Actually, we've been meeting across the street at the botanical gardens. Anyway, it's a nice lawn. Very grassy. Restrooms: There are restrooms Dog-friendliness: It's grass, so the dogs love it. Pick up your dog's poop, you heathens.

A beautiful place. Clean & busy with people of all ages & color. The ducks swimming in the water quacking away for food, the children playing, the sunshine, & flowers all combined to make it a great day. One thing made me sad. I could not get down by the ducks with my walker.

Great space, run around, work out, grab a snoball and chill on the swings, take your dog, whatever you want. The grass is nicely manicured, there are sprinklers running a bit late, but otherwise a very nice area of the park.

New Orleans City Park is my go place for power walks. For a leisure or romantic stroll you can walk among the moss dangled majestic oaks surrounded by natural lakes and lagoons. Home of the New Orleans Museum of Art & the future home of the Children's Museumcurrently under construction. Historic StoryLand amusement area for children and a awesomely restored carousel for adults who are kids at heart. Great trails/pathways for exercising, yoga under the tree, biking, canoeing, base/softball + soccer field, tennis courts and so much more for an assortments of fun outside activities. Great place for pinics during the cooler months. Shops available on premises to rent some equipment. Cafe servicing the famous coffee and powered beignets. Early mornings are the best time to workout.

The concert was very nice. The great lawn needs some tlc.
