Predatory, dishonest gym. Stay away. Still working with my credit card company to return the funds that they wrongly withdrew. I had a month to month membership with no commitment—yet after canceling in writing in April when I moved, with their acknowledged receipt, they have charged my card month after month. No one returns emails or calls from membership associates to General Manager—not Darren, not Chris, not William, not Nelson, not Erica. No apology or even acknowledgement. And yet I still receive personalized email incentive pitches to buy training packages. The gym clearly is not doing well, completely inept management. Claims to have “celeb” clientele—but they have all fled along with anyone without patience for incompetence. Some good trainers/staff, who are keenly aware of the toxic environment and don’t seem to last long. No excuses for this behavior. Beware.
Warning: This gym is on the verge of going bankrupt. Commit to a membership or a package of training lessons at your own risk. Sad to see this deterioration, as I have been a member for 10 years. The HVAC was broken all summer, they couldn’t afford to fix it. Trainers’ paychecks are bouncing my trainer just left as a result. When I asked the training manager Robin if his own paycheck had bounced, he told me he would be fired if he answered the question. He also told me his father had advised him to find a new job. Addendum: Remarkably, Clay sent an email to all members today telling them they will be billed $195 extra next month in order to make improvements to the gym based on "member feedback." So sad...
3 stars - Does not worth the price. Nothing special. They first will tell you an exorbitant price, then they will lower a considerable amount and then again. By this time you will think is a good deal. It is not. And to cancel the membership they hold you for one month. *UPDATE* 1 star - Not only all the above happened, but also the General Manager approached me asking for me to erase this comment in exchange for a free month. Guess what happened. I didn't. And you know what did they do? They charged me a full monthly fee EVEN AFTER HAVING CANCELLED my membership and AFTER the one-month holding period!! I don't know if the operational/administrative side is mess or if they did this on purpose but this gym is the worst gym I have ever been enrolled, the worst headache I have had this year, by far. Now I had to call my bank to request to block Clay from charging me again. It is a trap, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!! Clay = Expensive + bad service + stress + trap!
An excellent gym with great customer service. They really make an effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It's a little more expensive than other gyms nearby, but it's worth it.
This place has been ceased and the owners must be hiding owe employee thousands of dollars for hours worked. There is something criminal behind all this. Lives have been ruined and the owners are sitting comfortably in their penthouses. Disgusting!
I received a facial at CLAY as a gift, and it was wonderful! I felt rejuvenated and refreshed afterwards, and my aesthetician was very friendly. Great experience.
Amazing gym, with a wonderful stuff that knows your name and goals. EVERYONE is so welcoming and wonderful!
More of a private type of gym and very pricey but great aesthetics, gym equipment, and perks of being a member.
Lisa the Reiki practitioner is very good. Helpful, skilled and provided insight. Very nice experience.
Relaxing and calm gym, refreshing if you prefer a calmer experience instead of some of the more crowded and high intensity gyms out there.
