There's a few family members who love camping out here. They bugged me to come over to check Clinton campgrounds. So far I am very impressed. Clean campgrounds, tons of wide open space. Friendly people, camps grounds have good roads and tons of room. For the kids: the roads are good enough to bike and rollerblade on. There's an archery zone, many walking and bike trails. Fishing places, boating and swimming areas. All in all I would definitely come back here. The bathrooms were spotless. Great working staff! Great camping grounds! Highly recommend for family's and just about anyone who wants to spend some time in nature with clean homey touches. ~Cecilia
The campground is always clean and grass freshly cut with so many beautiful trees to park your camper under. The campground personal rock they have great attitudes and are respectful to me as a Trans male.
We love Clinton Lake! Even in the dead of winter it is still beautiful. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. They are nice and warm. We love listening to the hoot owls in the morning and evenings.
This area is terrific there is restrooms available but not in the winter months. It does have a covered area with tables and a BBQ grill which is kinda small for large gatherings there is a walking/ hiking trail entrance close buy and we never found the end of it in 4 hours not much traffic there this time of year which was really nice some night time lighting and trash cans so please use them this place is perfect to wear the kids out and forget about city life.
Great campsites the host was very kind and friendly. Will return and highly recommend.
Big space nice and flat. Deer in the field behind the RV in the morning. Metal ranger so no maps to check out the hikes
Lovely place with easy RV access. Beautiful trails that lead to the lake.
Incredible camp ground huge archery range love it . Caught some 9 to 10 lb channel catch fish around marina on hot dogs amazing . Playground: With the size of this place it's awesome for kids . Restrooms: Clean huge and showers too free and awww the hot water in the showers is amazing . Dog-friendliness: My dog loved being able to run. And there's a off lease dog park called mutt run to how awesome . Picnic area: Huge nice clean wow
Fun! But be on the lookout for a lot of poison ivy where I was staying at. My little kids was with me so we constantly kept making sure they don't touch those trees or around the ivy. Picnic area: Where I was staying at, there's a picnic area nearby and some view of lake with bunch of trees tho. Just a though to share that. Restroom was clean, not so like super clean, but it was clean.
The shower room and restrooms are very clean, but most picnic tables are in the bad shapes.
