Connollys Sportsbar

It’s Friday. Last day of a longggg week. You know where I went? Connelly’s. Do you know why? Because after the week I had there was no way I was going to take a chance on going somewhere where I might not be welcomed and where the food might not be awesome. At Connelly’s you know you’re gonna be welcome there and you know the food is going to be banging. Today was a perfect case in point. Sat at the bar. Got greeted right away. Ordered a burger and a beer cause, damn, that’s what I needed. Got it fast, it was hot and delicious. Bank on it. They are that dependable. Love this place!

This place is a typical dive bar located in an old plaza with very few other businesses, but don’t let the outside appearance steer you away. We like to go there in the afternoons, when you can easily find a seat at the bar. They don’t have a big variety of beers, but the ones they carry have very decent prices; same for their food. So far we tried all the bar food on specials during the weekdays, and really liked everything: the tacos, the wings, the burger which they cooked perfectly “medium-rare” as I wanted it. The staff is friendly, the bar also organizes free poker games and pool leagues their pool tables are very well kept and has live music during the weekends. It’s a great place to wind down and relax, and we’ll certainly go back.

Sat in Connolly's for a bit on a Saturday night and the vibe was nice neighborhood spot with lots of locals. There's billiards on one side of the bar and a stage on the other side for a live music. The server was very nice!! Good place for dancing and music

Connolly’s is the perfect neighborhood bar. The staff is amazing. I am in awe of how they manage the crowd on the busy nights and the rapport they have with the clientele on the slower nights. The food they don’t call him the Wing King for nothin’… is outstanding. And Caitlyn, the manager, has made Connolly’s the place to go for the South Florida music scene. If you are looking for the SFL version of Cheers…only with better music and atmosphere…you have to try Connolly’s.

My husband and I stopped in last night. I ordered a grateful dead and the woman working the bar didn't know what it was so I was able to tell her and she made it perfectly. We also ordered fried pickles and fried mushrooms along with the hangover burger and the mushroom Swiss burger. The food was better than any American food locally to where I live. I'll definitely be coming back in if I'm ever in the area again.

First time there tonight. Wish we could have stayed for the band. We sat at the bar. Great service, great food, friendly staff. What more can you ask for? We will go back and catch a band sometime soon!Food: 5/5

I stopped in on a weekday on my way to the movies for a beer and a quick bite. The ancient peeling window decals are like, "don't the owner's notice this?" Stepping in, the bar was about half occupied, but the remaining chairs were tilted in like they were being saved. The place has pool tables, so perhaps those people were playing pool? Or maybe the people at the bar just wanted some room around them. I sat at a table and after about 10 minutes without being served, I left.

Went there 10/29 and the bartenders were dressed up for Halloween. Very friendly, never had to wait for a drink . Female lead band rocked . Took wings home & they were best wings I’ve had in years. I will definitely be back and get better pics lol

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Connolly's. We went on vacation last week and we were really just looking for a wholesome hole in the wall to kickback, play games, and have a couple of drinks and it was very fulfilling for that! Bartender was great!Service: 5/5

Caitlyn and the rest of her team are fantastic! Fast and friendly service, great food, and live music all the time. Awesome place to hang out and play pool, darts, or relax after a long day of work.Food: 5/5
