Went for a breakfast. It was my first time. Since it wasn’t that busy I was able to get table right under the sun shade. The service was amazing and the food was awesome. It’s gonna be my new favorite breakfast place. I had smoked salmon with poached eggs and my friend had omelette. Their fresh squeezed orange juice just made my breakfast whole.
My parents and I stopped by today and we had a wonderful experience! The food was amazing & the portions were very generous. The staff was also extremely kind. I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
tl;dr, get the orange juice or crepes Perhaps I was unlucky with my experiences, but I won't be coming back. First experience was with Doordash. Wanted to get something nice for my birthday so I ordered from Crepevine to try something new. Food was mediocre. Home potatoes were dry. Like, really dry. Made me drink more water than eat actual food. Some pieces were also burnt and were thus inedible. El Baron Burger with sourdough tasted like something I could make myself but better. It was really greasy and the sourdough didn't taste like sourdough. The bread got soaked through with so much grease I had to take it off. They also forgot to get me the orange juice I ordered, which was a bummer. Also got a Rockridge crepe, which was pretty good. I eventually called them about the orange juice since I was kinda sad about it, and they said they'd gladly get me one for free the next time I visited. Yay! I visited the restaurant in-person today since I wanted to give them a shot at redemption. Got a Parma pasta spaghetti and meatballs and my beloved orange juice. Service was quick, but the food wasn't that great. The sauce was watery, almost like a soup, and the spaghetti was way overcooked. There were four meatballs with my order along with two pieces of garlic bread. The meatballs were alright, but everything else made me feel like throwing up. Finished the food with some difficulty and left feeling terrible - I didn't want to waste my $17. Also, they charge a credit card processing fee if you don't pay with cash. Wish I knew that before paying. On the plus side, the orange juice was great and the portions were huge.
Great sized portions and very well priced. Very friendly staff, quick service. A good place for dinner.Food: 5/5
Nice little cozy place in Berkeley. Classic American menu with lot of vegetarian options. I tried the tofu omelette with mocha and Siena crepe for dessert. Everything tasted good. The staff was friendly. Would recommend if you’re in the area :Recommended dishesSena Crepe, Eggs Benedict
Great place for desserts, but they have savoury crepes too. Very efficient in placing orders at the counter and then the foods are brought out.Food: 5/5
The food and service was great at Crepevine! My husband and I shared a tasty Pioneer sandwich. It’s nice that a side salad and a generous portion of crispy fries are included. Also, he had a bowl of black bean chili and I had the chicken veggie soup. Everything was delicious and tasted home made. I would highly recommend dining at Crepvine!
Delicious and bold. Large menu, generous amount of food as well. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Excellent. I ordered the 2 savory crepes--the philly and the salmon one. Both yummyFood: 5/5
Our breakfast was pretty disgusting. Flavorless, soggy and just bizarre tasting especially the pancakes. The service was great and everyone was really friendly but this place needs a major refresh.Food: 2/5
