I was visiting family from another city and we wanted authentic Chinese food. I ordered $80 worth of food and had to beg for soy sauce and did not receive napkins for a to go order. The food did not have any flavor and the lady who helped was simply rude. The food portions were small for a $13 entree and undesirably cold travel was less than a mile to destination. If you are over 40 years of age and enjoy experiencing good food, no matter the price. Do not visit this place. You will definitely be disappointed! By the way, we had plenty food leftover and no one had a desire to eat it 2 teenage boys. Reviews made over one year ago are not accurate as of February 2015.
I went there twice this week for the first time since my visitors noticed good reviews on yelp. Both times the cups were stained with some yellow sauces very distinctively. So disgusting. I spent more than $60 each time, but they never accepted credit card. This restaurant evades tax too much and annoys customers. And the food taste, come on, doesn't deserve average 4 stars, if you have tried many chinese restaurants before. Also, one of items we ordered was the typical dish of eggplant pork. It didn't come with pork of course.
An extremely authentic Chinese restaurant. We spoke with the owner and he is a true restauranter and insider on the world of Chinese cuisine in California. The chef has worked here for over 20 years, being retained by the recent new management. It is obvious that this restaurant is to be compared to the newly remodeled Great China. Let it be known that the exact dishes Great China is famous for are not only equally well-prepared and good tasting, by the prices are even more competitive. The famous Double Skin Noodle appetizer dish is $3 cheaper and deliciously prepared. And the Peking Duck is prepared with even more generous quantities than provided at Great China, the price being $28 compared to $34 at Great China. The interior of the restaurant has infinitely more character than the new and old Great China. The oriental carpeting, linen walls, fogged-glass windows and antique mainland chairs are photo worthy and transporting. A wonderful and truly authentic restaurant of Chinese cuisines, including Beijing, Shezhuan, and Shanghainese styles. 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommended.
Spent hard-earned $ on mongolian beef and chow mein... could have just took the bills and tossed them into trashcan outside.... what a waste of money. Of course, when I called to complain, nobody cares. Something changed about this place.
This is literally the best Chinese restaurant ever. I have been to Boston, London and other places. None of their best Chinese food beats this one. And I'm Chinese :p
Try the appetizer pancake not sure what the English name is. They make it better than a lot of places. Also, free rice is awesome. EDIT: rice is not free..
Delicious food and nice service. I liked the stuff eggplant and noodles they touched my soul:
Really good, authentic, Chinese food served well with good decor.
Love the food here and they always treat us well.
A little salty. However, that's exactly what I'm looking for. It's a perfect place for us Chinese.
