EREEF is for everyone!
We are a non-profit organization (a project of Community Partners) established to support Eagle Rock Elementary School.
EREEF raises money to benefit school-wide educational programs, arts and health enrichment programs, campus improvements, and addressing needs created by budget shortfalls.
The foundation is an all volunteer force made up of community partners, parents, teachers and staff who generously give their time and resources for the betterment of our school. EREEF works closely with the PTA, the administration, and teachers to raise much needed funds ensuring that all students receive an exceptional educational experience.
What EREEF has accomplished:
•achieved major improvements to the play yard, including having a brand new play structure installed
•purchased a much needed photo copier used by the entire school
•provided a fitness program to bring physical education to our campus
•supported the California Dance Institute’s program for all our fourth graders
•improved classroom technology
•renovated and mordernized the library
EREEF Fundraising Goals
EREEF's fundraising targets are determined through agreement with PTA, faculty, and parents. EREEF is also currently partnering with ERGO to green the campus. The foundation continues to fund technology updates, arts enrichment, and basic classroom needs. The goal is to bring all classrooms up to date with proper educational tools and technology, and to provide a rich, safe, and nurturing school for all ERE students.
The Eagle Rock Community
Eagle Rock Elementary School, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, educates nearly 900 children, from grades K through 6. ERE is one of the last elementary schools in LAUSD to offer 6th grade. ERE students are as culturally diverse as our community, and ERE parents are as involved in the school as they are in the Eagle Rock community. Eagle Rock prides itself in retaining a "small town" feel amidst a larger urban city. ERE reflects that small town feel even though it is a large campus. By working together the students and teachers have achieved the special designation of being a Blue Ribbon School and acheived an “API” of 887 in 2013.
