My girlfriend and I came here for magical dining without a reservation around 6 o' clock and we were seated immediately. Every staff member portrayed themselves with utmost professionalism, warmth and kindness. My first course was the best lobster bisque I have ever had, followed by incredibly tender roasted chicken bathed in a decadent sauce with classic Cajun flavors. My dessert was a simple, and velvety smooth, chocolate espresso mousse. Fantastic experience overall.
I came here for a girl's night out and we had a great time. The service above everything was hands down amazing! I did the four course dinner "4 for $48" and felt like I was doing what I call the "waddle girl walk" on the way out, but it was worth it. I only regret the outfit I wore because I couldn't suck it in to go see the blue man group. LOL. For starters I had the cast iron corn bread. Being a Southern girl, I love sweet cornbread. Emeril's corn bread wasn't sweet it was more on the savory with the honey butter and the bacon jam, but it was truly delicious. My friend ordered the fried green tomatoes something I usually always try to order and it was AMAZING, something I would say is a MUST to try. The pimento cheese and the sweet pepper jam add so much flavor to the fried green tomatoes. For the second course I had the chicken andouille gumbo and while it was very tasty. For the third course I had a hard time picking between the shrimp and grits, but ended up going with the sweet BBQ roasted salmon. The salmon tasted fresh and had so much flavor, the BBQ sauce and the crunchy onions on top....I mean who doesn't love crunch added to their meal? At this point was so full. The portions were so large that I could only eat about half of my actual dinner. My friend got the braised short beef ribs which were also very tasty, but the salmon was better. I definitely did not have food envy. For the fourth course we split the Pot De Creme, mainly because she doesn't like key lime pie and I am not a huge fan of banana cream pie. However, after I ordered, I saw a slice of their banana cream pie and I had wished that I had ordered it and tried it! It looked thick and rich and had a chocolate element to it. Our dessert was very simple, but also very delicious.
Awesome experience. We have dined here before with all six of us whole family. We have come back today with 5. Cocktails are always well done, wine list is strong and meals options are great. One of your better wine lists in Orlando you’ll find something you’ll like, if not the waitresses can help. We order the BBQ shrimp, duck tacos and lobster bisque. Everything was good. We followed with the picanha, pork chop and Buffalo Sirloin which was a twist on Chicken and waffles.
So we didn’t have reservations. So we had to wait an hour. Let me tell you. This place is worth a 2 our wait! First off, our waiter Keith was on point! He defiantly made this a memorable experience. I give him credit. Drinks never hit the bottom, napkins were always by our side, food was always served on time. This was truly a great experience. For appetizers we started with the duck wings. Phenomenal! We also had a kale & quinoa salad. And a baby spinach with white beet salad. Amazingly fresh!!! Then for dinner a vegetarian lasagna that he accommodated my vegan daughter to make with out cheese with hugest asparagus I have ever scene. My main course was an insane Yakamein: ramen noodles, Creale shrimp, braised beef, short rib, bbq charsiu pork, 6 min noodles, baby bak Choy, miso Kim chee broth. And obviously for desert we had the world reviewed banana cream pie. All I have to say is this place is a must! Ask for Keith!
First time in Florida, to go to Disney World, and it's our 25th anniversary year, so we wanted to celebrate. Got a last minute reservation online for Emeril's Orlando - a special goal unto itself. Getting through Universal Studios CityWalk to the restaurant was a bit insane due to the crowds, but parking is free after 6 pm in the parkades. Seated promptly, we received amazing service from Keith & Marcus. The drinks were special versions of a Hurricane and a Gin & Tonic. The cornbread, shrimp & corn chowder, & spinach & golden beet salad starters were amazing. We had the skirt steak and the double thick pork chop; both were good, although the steak was the better of the two. Asked if we wanted dessert, we thought ourselves too full. Little did we know our waiter had flagged the anniversary note on our reservation. An amazing piece of Emeril's special Banana Cream Pie arrived, with Happy Anniversary written on white chocolate, as a complimentary treat. Thanks to Emeril for his amazing restaurant, to his fantastic staff especially Keith & Marcus, and to the neighborly adjoining table who took our pictures so we could forego the selfie routine. Glad we made it, and just like the wait I endured many years ago to have Emeril sign a cookbook, it was worth the effort to dine here.
Food was excellent I ordered my steak which was cooked perfectly but service seemed disorganized. Had two waiters who were very friendly but when I asked for a beer took about 10 minutes to come out. When my wife asked for a coffee before we even ordered dessert the coffee did not come out until we had already almost finished the desert. If the service was flawless I could easily justify a 4 star rating.
Terrible service, aperantly their waiting staff is uninformed about promotions until the check comes. Felt totally misled and upset that my meal had to be ruined over an argument with the wait staff. Also don’t ask them to accommodate anything; asked for no mushrooms and they couldn’t do that on a flatbread... how fresh can the food be? Came in for dessert I heard Wolfgang puck loving his banana cream pie and I saw a promo outside the door saying buy an entre get a free dessert. I can in and asked about the promotion, and pizza because it was on their outdoor menu which by the way they don’t serve she said they had a flatbread they could do instead. Sounded great Sally verified with the chef the price to do it as an entre instead of an appetizer $12. Brings the banana cream pie knowing that was our intention. End of the meal comes and she sends another waitress to bring a bill with everything included and not the price she stated and we showed our park ticket and told her about the discount and she said nothing she could do so we ask for sally back and she changes everything that was said. She says she said it would be $13 the receipt said $16 for the flat bread and they charged the dessert and after arguing and telling her you knew our priority was the pie etc the other waitress noticed she miss informed us. Wasn’t about the prices, it was about the experience and the lack of staff communication which lead to unnecessary arguments.
Food fantastic, staff even better. It was our anniversary and we'd had a DAY. We were transported to the perfect dining experience start to finish. All of the staff is GENUINELY warm, but didn't overdo it. We will be back. Thank you Emeril's for giving us one of the best memories of our trip.
Wow.. words cant explain. My boyfriend and I came for happy hour.. We saw baked CEDAR KEY OYSTER and asked if we can have them RAW... OUTSTANDING...meaty, sweet, fresh, minerality and a slight salty finsh... I WORK AT SALT AND BARREL IN LONG ISLAND BAYSHORE and they your restaurant made me feel right at home! THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND HOSPITALITY!
Had an absolutely fantastic meal with impeccable service. We didn't get there until after 9 PM and still have time for a complete gourmet meal. The cornbread is to die for and make sure you don't miss the bread putting! Also, do you happen to see shrimp tempura and make sure you order it because they're the largest shrimp I've ever same!
