EPL mission statement: To enrich our community and inspire lifelong learning by uniting people, ideas and information. Approved by the Library Board on September 16th, 2014.



"Welcome to the Emmaus Public Library. The library is part of the Access Pennsylvania program and serves as the home library for residents of the East Penn area Emmaus Borough, Macungie Borough, and Upper Milford Township. Emmaus Public Library is one of 12 Libraries that form the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative LCLC."

The service desk were super friendly even in the midst of what seemed like rush hour! The library itself is a delightful & beautiful location that is sure to impress any visitors that come along! All of the expected material is available as well as the heart warming community events.
Small, local library affiliated with the Allentown Public Library, the library in Saucon Valley and The Lehigh Carbon Library Consortium. Plenty of offerings with ability to order/borrow from other libraries in network. Also offers and hosts many educational events for the local community.
Love this library everyone is super helpful and nice! We went to the therapy dog reading event and my daughter loved it!! They have a large selection of books. They get a lot of new books also. It’s also a clean and organized library.
This is a truly wonderful library. The children's librarian is amazing. There are so many great programs. A well curated children's book selection and nice little play area with a train table and a few computers. You must check their facebook for events, there is a kids event virtually every single day. The adult book selection is good too. And a fairly up to date DVD selection, which sure beats the colored box for price. The building itself is nice and sunny with a beautiful mosaic map of Emmaus on the exterior. Editing to add since I posted here the library has expanded the children's section. It's quite lovely
I CANNOT say enough positive things about the atmosphere and staff here. My kids love it here. The activities such as Quidditch, Harry Potter Movies, Stem projects, among others are AMAZING. The librarians genuinely care and truly a wonderful bunch!
A great place for many things to borrow. They even have a puzzle started you can relax and enjoy putting together.

We are heavy users of the library. Our family could go to several other local libraries, but we choose to come to the Emmaus Public Library. The Librarians and volunteers are incredibly nice and helpful, and tolerant of our six children. This is what a Public Library should look like.
Recently got a library card by visiting the nice people at the front desk. Explained all activities & pointed out the sections of the building. Looking forward to the virus restrictions being over to take advantage of all of their activities.
My wife and I always stop by to work on the puzzles when we are out for a walk
