Nice big sites with huge roads to pull in any size campers. The only issues I really saw here were you hear traffic from the road that the RV park is on and a lot of the sites were not shaded. The sites are really big here and if you turn on your AC you probably won't even hear the traffic. Of course it depends where you stay in the RV park also. Another issue was workers were working on the roof by the front pool so that was more noisy than normal. Again not really a big issue though as I live in the area and I am still recovering from Hurricane Ian too. We really didn't even see any one in the front office either as we came in off business hours for the weekend so I can't comment on the customer service either. Nearby activities: Closeabout 15 minutes or so to Charlotte county beaches.
We LOVE Harbor Lakes RV Resort. It's one of our favorite RV parks in Florida. We hadn't been there since the hurricane, but they've done an amazing job getting the whole resort back in order. Very clean, and well-maintained, park. The roads are super wide, making it a breeze to back into any site. Jody, Penny, and Francesca are always very helpful accommodating any needs or questions. Plenty of amenities pool, hot tub, fitness room, clubhouse, volleyball, basketball, tennis, pickleball, billards, library, laundry, etc.. We like to fish, so there is a large lake next to the park, and even the small ponds have some active fishing. But there are also plenty of other places to fish nearby, whether you like to fish fresh, salt, or brackish water. Harbor Lakes is also a fairly short drive to Englewood Beach ~20min, or take a slightly longer trip down to Boca Grande <30min. Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda is also well worth the short drive <30min. Plenty of shopping nearby, including Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target, as well as both chain and family-owned restaurants. And we always meet some nice residents, regulars, & new visitors to this resort. What more could be said about Harbor Lakes RV Resort. You won't regret it!
The guy running the park tries to help everyone, great person. But I had 4 kids there, and 95% of the ppl frowned on it, as I guess it use to be 55+Park. They quit letting kids to do anything, it got to a point where there was no respect from most older ppl, even going to the basketball court without adult, even if they were 16. Age limits on everything. Now the mail lady, and guy that runs it are Great ppl, but nothing else good about it!!!!!!
Nice campground and facilities. Sites are marked well and easy to findService: 5/5
We own a park model home here. Love the comraderie, activities, amenities. Nearby scenic places, 20 min from beach, great local restaurants.Service: 4/5
We loved our stay at Harbor lakes RV resort. We are south Florida s and enjoy a weekend here and there. The park was extremely clean the residents super nice and the office workers were super super kind and informative.. we enjoyed the clean pool, hot tub and amenities.. took a 10 -15 min drive to the Stump pass beach.. super nice. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back
Immaculate grounds, wonderful facilities, best professional staff, residents respectful, courteous and gracious.Rooms: 5/5
Very nice camp ground, seems like it attracts good people. They all socialize like family. They offer different size lots so it is nice that you can get a large area.. Most people come back year after year, and some are full time residents. They are festive and decorate on the holidays, I would recommend it for the location as well very close to everything.
This could be a 5 star resort But....they need to fix the light in the pool is laying on the deck of the pool and still plugged into the pool. They need to take a look a real hard look at some of the people that live there In rvs. There is one trailer I think it is lot 102 it is just nasty ,all kinds of junk just piled up on the outside of the RV. You should be enforcing the rules of cleanliness on your RV sites. The good part is the lots were level and spacious, all the activities advertised were very excellent except the ping pong paddles went missing. Would I come back not any time soon. I come to relax and enjoy the park and not have to look out my back door at some trailer trash.
Massive place. A small micrometropolis of all the RV parks you've ever seen rolled into one. Ladies were welcoming and cool.at Checkin. They have hustled to get the place straight Post Hurricane Ian. Great work! Great location tons of places to eat and a 30 minte drive from Grouper tacos and a heavenly sunset.
