This was a great place to take the kids. They had a convenient concessions area with hot food for lunch and drinks. The AC was very nice on a 90+ degree day outside. Plenty of bathrooms spaced perfectly throughout the exhibit. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions we had. Great place to visit.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
This was a very interesting establishment. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in. We just happened to be driving past during a long road trip and decided to see what this place was. You can tell an amazing amount of hard work and dedication has been poured into this place. If you are a train enthusiast, or like model trains, this place is definitely for you. When we walked in we found out that for the 3 of us, it would cost about $60. Definitely didn't expect that, but we decided to go ahead and see. Once inside, there is a huge village set up from the earliest railroads all the way to the most current over tons of square footage. Besides the trains, I would say that this place is definitely geared towards younger kids probably ages 7 and under. There's train tables to play on, a plays cape area, ride on train rides, pedal train cars, and finally a Fun house. My son is 9 and he enjoyed the train, but it was almost too small for him although he said he enjoyed it. The one part we liked the most was the fun house. They had different rooms set up with different themes like outerspace, mirror rooms and a room that slants to the side. Overall it was a fun experience, but I can't say that we'd be back again. Again, you can definitely see all the hard work that has taken years to create this place, it just didn't fit our interests for the price paid. Also, there is a toy store inside and a food court. You could definitely spend a rainy day here with smaller kids, I just don't know how expensive of a day it might become!
Definitely a hidden gem the family had a great time the lil ones filled with excitement as they watched all types of different train models some battery some electric. The details put into the different train scene and background wow what amazing work thank you everyone that takes part is all the beautiful set ups. We'll definitely back
This place is AWESOME. My son and I have been to numerous train museums, and EnterTRAINment Junction is #1 in our books. The layouts were amazing. The building was spotless. And the staff was very friendly. If we are ever back in the area, we will stop again. And again.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Great place to visit if you love model trains or have young kids. The fun house was a great add-on experience for the entire family and my kids loved seeing all the different Thomas the Train items in the very large kids play area! Plus there are Two outdoor trains to ride! We saved $2 a ticket by ordering online and doing the summer fun do it all experience. Price for entry: $17.95 Ticket type: Summer Fun Do It All ticket
There are no existing superlatives to describe the train layout. Young and old will squeal with delight. This is not another road side attraction. Being a model railroader for many decades I was greatly impressed with the attention to detail and complimentary displays of historical items. Plan to spend a few hours at least. Nicely appointed hobby shop, gift shop, and cafe. Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained facility.
Met the owner Don yesterday, who took us under the train displays to show us where the magic happens! Was a great educational visit that our son and us as well loved! The displays are simply amazing, with lots of Easter eggs to find... lots of little details if you look!
Omg this place was so great. I loved all the detail. I could have spent several more hours exploring. I wanted to photograph every little story that was being told. So fun.
An incredible adventure awaits everyone who walks through the doors of EnterTRAINment Junction. The admission fee is reasonably affordable. While there are special event areas for children we only visited the train display. Travel through time and space traveling the rails throughout our nation's history. I will let some of my photos tell the story.
Walking into the building was such a fun feeling with all of the signage and other architectural facade details. It reminded me of a theme park type feel. You can walk into the building and go to the cafe, 2 shops gift shop & Junction Hobbies & Toys, bathroom without paying an entrance fee.  You can see a tiny bit of the train display also. We loved ALL of it: A-maze-N funhouse was soo fun . . . . just wished the mirrors in the mirror maze were cleaner- seeing the dirty markings gave away where to walk taking some fun out of it but we still enjoyed ourselves. When we walked out a worker asked us in an exciting friendly voice: "Did you have a fun time?" which stuck out to me. The Junction Cafe: The Cafe service was fast and friendly.  We just got drinks- no food but there is a Cafe of food and drinks offered.  I loved the feel of sitting at the cafe where it felt we were outdoors but we were actually inside.  The Cafe closed at 2pm so not open the same hours, we arrived at 1:55pm so I didn't want to bother with ordering food. Indoor Playground/ Play area was large and had areas for toddlers up to older kids.  I wasn't prepared with quarters for some rides but there was a change machine if needed.  Bathrooms in this area worked our perfect and we were able to wash our hands after playing before moving onward through the train displays. The train displays and all the intricate details were impressive - the scavenger hunt we got at the entrance window was a lot of fun for both my husband and kids. There looks to be a broken down kids railroad and buildings gated outside the building but the reviews are saying this is an additional ride which is seasonal.  . . . so it will probably open up soon? I didn't see information at all about it. We took a family photo inside and the sign explained that we could purchase it inside the gift shop which is where you exit. With young kids I totally forgot until we left - but we were sad they didn't offer it to us when we were buying stuff at the gift shop. . . Missed financial opportunity for them and sad that we don't have our photo to remember. You can have parties there,  they have signs with party deals and many rooms to use.  Check their website or call for that info. Everything was stroller friendly, there is a second floor that has elevator access if needed, its small but you can look over most of the train display from above. We aren't crazy about trains but ANYONE would love this- you can see soo much effort put into all the displays,  very detailed - make sure to take your time and admire everything! We were there 3.5 hours with 2 adults/3 kids.  Expect to spend at least 2 hours. We will definitely come back - we used Groupon and got a cheaper rate.  At the window it was approx. $19.99 to do both the train display side and also to do the A MAZE N funhouse.
