Been here a few times with my daughters on field trips being one of the adult chaperones. It doesn’t feel like your in the city especially when you start walking through the trees. They brought out a toad a time we went and the kids had a blast. There is a building where you can cool off with A/C and bathrooms. They have fish and jellyfish, not sure if that area is open for everyone. Every time I’ve gone I’ve had a great time. There are also areas where you can sit and picnic in a shady area.
What a beautiful place. Came here for a wedding with y wife, and we really loved the nature inside the "concrete jungle". The fire pit was great, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would def come back for another event. Seems like a great place for kids.
Not the friendliest visit, that's for sure.
A fun little getaway for the family to walk, explore, & have a picnic lunch. That's what we did and had a great time. Staff was accommodating, and location was clean and well taken care of
I live in California I breed insects. Food for animals! Food for human’s too! Black Soldier Fly Larvae Ala Mode! Sweet Churro’s treat! Savory treats! Taste like Chito’s Crunch! Organic 50 percent protein 35 percent fat! More protein than beef! I also grow mushrooms too! The buttons around the house! Don’t say nothing!
Information is incorrect. They should update their hours because I visited during the week, and it was closed to the public due to summer camps. They should really update their hours. They are only open to the public on the weekends.
Enc is great, has walking trails with shade and some reptiles and amphibians to see all free. They have a butterfly garden which is amazing, small but impressive.
This was more than I expected. Perfect for kids and adults. I loved the begining to the end of it. From the museum to the trail. Peaceful and educational. I have 4 kids and was there for about 2 plus hours.
Yeah we drive school kids down here all the time it's a place to go for like third graders so it's a nice little walk around very accessible for our cars it's right next to the high school parking lot dumpling or you'll miss their driveway
Attending an Early Childhood conference. Beautiful location but can be a bit echo-y and loud in sound competition when there are guests nearby. Not that that is bad, just a challenge at times. Catered continental breakfast and salad/sandwich lunch was nice but basic. There is also a clear commitment to compostable/recyclable/reusable playes and cups! Im curious about the upcoming preschool being built too. Keep it up ENC!
