If it wasn’t for the women who takes your insurance/ payment they would have gotten a higher star. The wait was normal for what was going on with me the staff was good it’s when your all done and a little women comes and demands payment of 500 dollars how you gonna pay how you gonna pay we need this. Nothing worse then to get treated and then demanded money. Not ask but demanded.
My kid is only 11, and has been crying in the ER with acute abdominal pain for over 3 hours now and she still hasn't been seen. They keep letting back people who showed up after us. One person only waited 15 minutes before going back. Super frustrating. I hate this place!! They told me they are prioritizing who goes back and when. So they pretty much are letting everyone go before my kid who is doubled over in severe pain. Worst hospital ever! Don't recommend!
I was seen here a month ago for a workplace injury which caused me to get transported to the ER via ambulance. From my job. The doctors and nurses were wonderful and nice. My issue is with the billing department and lack of communications with L&I. A lady came in to the room and told me to just file my L&I claim online. I did just that. Provided the ER, doctors name, everything. There has been a complete lack of communication from the ER to L&I and I have a bill from the hospital about to go to collections over it. I’ve called numerous times and gone in, in person, to drop off paperwork for the attending doctor to fill out and send to L&I, which was failed to get done. This has all been time sensitive and I told them that. I don’t know who else to talk to at this point, my case manager also says that she cannot get a hold of the ER. Do better.
I've been to the ER in various places 4 or 5 times for myself and twice for my child. About half the time there has been a serious problem, but this is the *only* ER that has ever treated me with complete respect. Normally, medical staff gaslight me, even when there does end up being a serious problem. The staff at Evergreen were kind, concerned, and invested in my wellbeing. I'm so grateful for the nurses and doctors who helped me through a rough night and took my symptoms seriously. They also have a super cool way of running things. They get your information insurance, address, etc after you've been seen, so you're not trying to remember all your important info while you're standing at reception dying or being afraid of dying. I think all hospitals should implement this practice.
Evergreen ER came through for us today! I haven't always had the best experiences here, but today was a bright spot. My 18 month old fell and got a bad looking cut on the inside of her upper lip. We couldn't get in anywhere else, so we ended up at the ER. My daughter has been afraid of all doctor's offices for a while now and immediately started getting upset as soon as we were seen but all the staff were super understanding and did their best to keep her calm. The best though was the person who came to do our paperwork - pretty sure her name was Nicole? When my daughter started crying, she left and came back with a stuffy bear and started making friends. It was a small thing and she didn't have to do it, but by the time we left my daughter was way more comfortable, and hopefully her next doctor's appointment won't be so scary. Thank you for turning a hard day into a great experience for my daughter!
I’ve been a patient with Evergreen for 4 years. I came into the ER on 9/2/23 to be seen for issues with my chronic condition. The PA-C, Emmanuel Ogele was fantastic. The nurse Itzel was amazing and she went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed through these desperate times. I’ve had really good experiences with Evergreen, they truly do care about their patients. Wait times can be long, but it’s worth the wait because they are thorough. I recommend EvergreenHealth for all care!
Of course Emergency situations are never fun, but I was really concerned with what I saw at this ED. At one point my monitor flatlined and no one showed up. At the end of my visit, I had to ask the doctor about several items in my lab results that were off, that he completely missed addressing. There was no empathy for patients. We waited almost 8 hours to be seen and another 5 to get through the visit its understandable to prioritize severe cases, but there was a lack of communication and even false information provided. It was very disorganized. If you have the option, please try elsewhere. The person who checked me out even told me point blank that the Redmond location would have a shorter wait and better service. I know there is a healthcare staffing shortage issue in the US, which I deeply empathize with. This location is clearly very much affected and for my own personal health and safety I would not visit again. UPDATE: I have shared this experience with them directly as well months ago and received no follow-up. Whoever is responding in reviews here - I hope you can speak to what this facility is planning to do to improve.
Came to Evergreen Emergency 90 minutes with severe rectal pain post procedure 4days back. They helped to check in with blood samples, after that it is complete silence, no update, I am having pain but no one here to provide an update on what is happening. Very pathetic patient care. I had very good experience with surgery department 4 days, but this emergency experience is very disappointing.
The nurse was about to discharge me without my drip being fully injected to me, less than half of the drip was in me they didn’t explain the report at all. She herself had shut down the dripping machine. Be sure you have someone with you to check these things , else they may discharge u with needles on or without full medication. Had to get help of other nurse Hannah who was supportive and responsible on the other hand
this place deserves zero star. i got some road rashes and went in for a simple treatment, i was there for no longer than 1 hour. later I got billed by three different entities. First, EvergreenHealth billed my insurance, sure, that's pretty reasonable. Then there is Evergreen Emergency Services. So after some research, they are like a team of emergency doctors that kind of formed a company? And it's based in California? So basically I had to pay my doctor through EvergreenHealth, then Evergreen Emergency Services. On top of that, Radia claimed that they did the imaging but my hospital bill already included those charges xray and seeing a doctor.
