I've had violin repair done here and the work he contracts out is adequate. Most of what he sells is drop shipped. However, I'd go to other luthiers in the area. The attention to detail on my sound post reset just wasn't there. It was frayed on one end and he didn't notify me or recommend replacement. This combined with his bridge left my instrument sounding muted. Go elsewhere. Edit: Since the owner, won't let me reply. I did have you adjust the entire instrument including a new bridge. It was subpar. I have gone in 5 times and spent over 1000 at your shop. Now I travel 30 minutes each way to get service. I send all new students I encounter to others for rentals. Most of all, I recommend no one lets you repair their instruments.
Evergreen was great to work with. The viola case I ordered was on backorder for several months, and they contacted me to see if I wanted to wait or refund my money. I decided to wait, and months later, I got a text from Kelly saying that the case was being shipped. What a pleasant surprise! It arrived today and it’s exactly what I was expecting. I would absolutely recommend working with Evergreen in the future.
Upon placing the order I called to inquire about the product being in stock and being shipped on time. The representative was patient and explained the process of receiving and shipping. I received the order as promised and even received a follow up text to check the status of delivery. I highly recommend the company and will certainly use again! Very friendly, caring, and professional!
Tucked away in an industrial park is the charming Evergreen Workshop, specializing in bowed string instruments and a guitar or two. Having worked in a violin shop for 12+ years, I was very curious to see who Evergreen was and what they had to offer. With a staff of three, they cover quite a lot! But....they still took the time to chat with me about the shop, which I really appreciated!! Some things are fine to use an online presence for purchasing, other things still need the human interaction. Evergreen has both, so 2 thumbs up!
If it's going to take two grand to "fix it the proper way" a cracked cello, shouldn't I get a two grand discount if he tries to sell it?

Great place to deal with. I was in there to have a violin checked out that I came across. Although I isn't get the answer I was hoping for in value worth Terry was very quick and honest to give me what it needed and how much to make it function and bring some value back to it. Strongly recommend.
Lovely family owned business that delivers exquisite instrument craftsmanship. Friendly and kind customer service. I highly recommend!
They tuned my violin and gave me some advice. Nice guy.
