They really are scamming ! Me and my husband went in for a physical appointment! its preventative care which should be completly covered by Insurance. We were charged 300$ for it! When asked we were told we asked questions that were not part of the physical which simply means asking questions and the doctor answering it happens or thats how it will be! Just asking question would change it to an office visit! I'm really disappointed and frustrated!
All of my experiences here have been great. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. I tend to get some pretty extreme anxiety about visiting the doctor for anything, but here I feel like the team knows how to handle an anxious patient, especially when it comes to blood draws. I also feel like my doctor, Dr. Ramadas, is really taking the time to help me navigate an uncertain situation with my health. I have so much appreciation for the great care I’ve received.
Avoid this place like the plague!! HORRIBLE incompetent doctors office. I had a physical scheduled months in advance for the beginning of October. They called me days before claiming the doctor would not even be there that day and asked me to come in on a Saturday morning instead, to which I obliged. So after sitting in the lobby for over an hour past my appointment time I had to leave as I had to pick up my child. I was told someone from the doctor’s team would call me to reschedule. Well of course I never heard from anyone. So I call them and after sitting on hold for 30 minutes the rude woman on the phone says there’s nothing she can do and offers me an appointment the end of January 2023! My pharmacy has also been contacting them trying to refill my prescriptions and they can’t even manage to respond to my pharmacy to allow me my daily medications. I had to contact another doctor within Evergreen to help me! Avoid the nightmare and STAY AWAY from this office they are incompetent, rude and a total disaster!
Their scheduling line is horrible. Left message for a call back on Wednesday and Friday, never call me back. Waited on the line for over an hour still can’t reach anyone to book an appointment. Have to go through the patient portal to finally get someone to call me back to book an appointment a week later and guess what? Got a call the day before the appointment to let me know that the Doctor has to cancel. And what’s even better? Their entire clinic has no availability to see a patient the rest of the month when it is just October 5 today.
Have always had a positive experience here. My PCP retired last summer, so I saw a new provider today. Enjoyed the team and appreciate the environment.
I followed my doctor here when he moved Dr. Herron and everyone has been nothing but gracious here. His nurse, Alan, is engaging and really takes the time to listen even though I can only presume how busy he must be. The front office ladies are helpful and welcoming. I’ve never waited more than five minutes past appointment start time even during the pandemic, usually being called back on time or a few minutes before. The few times I’ve had to get blood drawn it’s same day and within 15 minutes of the end of my appointment. I’d highly recommend this office. Even the few times my doctor wasn’t available and I had to see other doctors they were empathetic and I could tell cared about the appointment regardless of the fact I was a regular patient. 5/5 stars I’ll keep going here until my doctor retires hopefully in 60 years somehow.
Latest in person interaction was good. Friendly staff and reasonable wait times. However, I was on hold for 24 minutes to make the appointment. Only 3 stars because, ever since they got bought out by Evergreen, service and availability have seriously declined. If you call for an appointment, you'll be on hold for at least 15 minutes and they'll push you to walk-in clinics and it takes 4-8 weeks to get an appointment with your doctor. Never had a problem before they became Evergreen. If I am lucky enough to get an appointment to see her, Dr. Platz is always amazing, engaged and familiar with my medical history. She is the only reason I haven't severed ties with this clinic.
I understand it was a snowy day and not every staff member was available, its a good reason to be slower than usual and make minor mistakes. But its not an excuse to be rude. Nurse Lisa might have been overworked or there could be any other reason, but she was rude and I felt like I was judged. It looked like she didn’t want to see us. Its okay, if you don’t want to see us - cancel the appointment, but don’t make your patients feel incompetent and miserable.
We’ve been going to Lakeshore Clinic for 13 years. Dr. Higginbotham and his nurse, Kristina, have the best bedside manner of any practitioners I’ve ever worked with. My children love to visit which says a lot when immunizations are involved. We’ve seen several of the other physicians for acute visits over the years and have never had a bad experience. I recommend this practice to friends all the time. Waiting room time is minimal. My only complaint is that lately it’s been taking a long time on hold before we can make appointments.
Billed for an appointment not with my doctor. I was trying to get any appointment with my doctor, and what they said was available was a nurse practitioner or something like that. So I went with it, as an already existing patient. I was billed $263. I have insurance and all. This is so pricey. The appointment involved waiting for over 30 minutes, and then a quick 20 min inspection. Why does it cost so much?
