As a community midwife a place to send clients to where they can get support, locally grown herbs and find community is invaluable! Farmacy for being a place to find plant medicine and community. Do not miss this place of you are on a self healing adventure.
As an herbalist myself who has moved to Providence recently, I just LOVE any opportunity to go into this store! The bulk herbs and products are all high quality. I love the mushroom cocoa, medicated tooth powder and st. john's wort oil in particular. Can't wait to drop into one of the community tea sessions soon!
Love this place. I was looking for lavender for my homemade syrup, and also left with some mouthwash. I used the mouthwash when I got home to a positive result! The atmosphere was inviting, and the woman assisting me was wonderful. They have every herb imaginable and great prices.
I loved it here! I was driving through the state and was called to this location and was in need of getting some items to bring back home and I am so glad I did. Narcissa was friendly and helpful. The herbs they provided were quite extensive and of great quality/cost and quite frankly best I've seen amongst all the other items they provide such as the tinctures, teas, etc. Will be coming back from CT to get stocked up!
Oh my god. This place is amazing. They have a huge inventory in a small and cozy storefront. There were tinctures and herbs I've had difficulty finding. The prices are very fair, most herbs in the $2-5/oz range depending on the specific plant. The staff are super friendly and helpful, whether it's finding a specific item or asking questions about how to use different herbs. The store itself is adorable. It's a tiny little shop with a huge overhanging patio out front. The inside looks and feels like a herbalists shop from centuries ago.
I've been to pretty much every herb shop east of the Mississippi and I can tell you without a doubt, this place has the freshest, most delicious herbs and the staff is top notch! You should go here and tell em I sent ya!
I absolutely love this spot. All herbs, honey, products are locally sourced from Rhode Island. The staff there was extremely knowledgeable, as well as polite and caring for their products. They offer multiple health and community services. And the prices are so affordable!
Lydia is so sweet and helpful. I had quite a large order and she filled it with ease. Super knowledgeable staff, always a pleasure when visiting!
I love that they have all the herbs I could possibly want however I find the hours to be kind of inconvenient since I work,I tried to call to see if they could get my herbs set aside because I couldn't make it until like 5 or 10 after 5 and theybwere closed the next day. I was told unless I can get there right at 5 then I am just out of luck even though I have heard associates tell people that if you're running a little late you can just call. After that I have been extremely hesitant to go and buy any herbs from them when I can buy them online more conveniently and can avoid having to deal with the off-putting demeanors. While I want to support this business because I think they're awesome, some of the little things makes me want to take my business elsewhere
Wonderful selection of herbs. The folks that work there are herbalism geeks. It can be hard to get one on one attention during busy times. But during quiet times you can get some great information on all of the herbs they carry.
