FDNY Engine 96 & Ladder 54 are located in the Soundview section of The Bronx. The Firehouse is located at 1689 Story Avenue next to the 43rd Precinct. Engine 96 & 54 Truck each respond to well over 4,000 alarms a year. 96 Engine and 54 Truck are apart of the 3rd Battalion in the 6th Division. The other 3rd Battalion Companies are Engine 94 & Ladder 48 in Hunts Point and Engine 64 & Ladder 47 in Castle Hill. The members of the Story Avenue Gang have been proudly serving the citizens of Soundview since 1964.
