This was an actual Fire in a building located on Madison Street, in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Fire Department of the City of New York is on call, seven days a week-twenty four hours a day. These brave man and woman are challenged to save and protect the lives of those endangered, placing their own lives in the danger zone. When you see a Fire Truck passing you by, a simple "wave" is a sign of appreciation for their dedicated work. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.
I walked passed the firehouse yesterday with my dog and I got into a brief conversation about food, cooking and my cute dog with the FFs and I must say these men are probably the sexiest house of men I've ever seen... thank you all for keeping our city safe & looking so hot..lol God bless each of you and stay safe. Love, The Chef
Had a amazing time meeting everyone what a great group...
I am visiting New York on the 20th March and wish to visit your Fire House. I am a retired Fire Officer from Aberdeen Scotland and wish to present you with a Scottish Fire Helmet.
Uncertain of the synchronicity of an occurrence along the select bus but as a supporter of the feel-good story that came out in 2009 in the New York Post I just want to salute the suggestion box Ford zip code analytics. If a cadet could reach out or house manager to my assistant, then I could help get out the word about the pedestrians causing much of the traffic within the 5 boroughs. More later but
Given them a little present from Lourdes
A more than deserved acknowledgment to the valiant Firefighters of New York City, famous and celebrated, who - like their colleagues in the world - do their utmost, risking their lives to save others. Every time you see one of their barracks, positions, vehicles or representatives of the Corps, a movement of sympathy and support arises spontaneously.
On vacation in NYC in December 2015, there was a firefighter among us who was curious to visit the barracks of his American colleagues. They let us in at a simple request and the young and very kind commander acted as our guide. Then there was an exchange of gadgets from their respective bodies. An exquisite welcome! Thank you!!
Really nice barracks! With his little mascot
