Wow what a amazing place. My wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer 7 weeks ago so she had to do radiation every weekday and Chemotherapy one a week for 6 weeks. This place is Awesome. It don't matter who you are your treated like royalty. From Doctor Shaw and his staff to to radiation techs to all the nurses. To the singing nurse on the chemo floor. And everyone who we encounter there. Thank you! My wife got to ring the bell today as this was the last day of Chemotherapy. It was a long drive for us everyday from Palmbay to Orlando and back but it was well worth it and i wouldn't change a thing. She responded better than expected and it all due to the wonder care and treatment we received
Great care. The problem is Advent Health system. Appointment reminders texted with a link without referencing the appointment time. Had a link to complete pages of forms once I arrived. There is no way anyone could possibly read the forms and authorizations. I believe they purposely have you link when you arrive so you don’t have time to read. No other business could stay in business requiring clients to complete important information from their car. First question when I walked in the office? “Has any of your information changed?” Really?
I’m a patient of Doctor Carlos Alemany, he is great. The staff on the other hand suck, the doctor prescribed nausea meds on July 11th and for some unknown reason the pharmacy never got it. I’ve been using the same two both CVSsince I started going here. Called last week no one called back, called again today and spent 30 minutes on hold to be told someone will call today. 4:10pm no calls, I call back spent another 30 minutes on hold just to be told someone will call me back. Sad thing is this isn’t the first instance of this happening to me with Advent Health. They sure call about a bill but patient care obviously isn’t their priority at the cancer center. Maybe it’s time to retrain people or just let the ones who drop the ball go, patients deserve better!
I don't have cancer. I have a blood disorder that can indicate if I'm getting closer to leukemia. I have been seen in this office for many years. I've always been seen close to my appointment time and treated with kindness, concern and compassion as well as skilled care. I've had nothing but positive experiences with all the employees - from the front desk, nurses, lab techs and Dr. Alemany and his nurse practioner.
Great Doctors and staff. They are very caring. So glad I was referred to this cancer center.
THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS MAINTENANCE. You CAN'T sit outside benches under the see through roof because it leaks. South Tower elevators all the way to pharmacy TUBE LIGHTS half of them are out or on the way out. We came 6:30 am and not bright . ELDERY PERSON can easily trip over. Only reason i come here doctors and nurses are good here but for the people that are waiting wont be happy. FRONT DOOR at the entrance squeaks. I GUESS MAINT DEPT IS SLEEPING OR MGMT DON'T CARE Please See the photos
I went there for a PET scan and the nurses were very courteous, informative and went above and beyond to assist me with my situation. I truly appreciate all they did. Word of advice, if you park in the parking garage next to the building, you hit G for ground not 1 in the elevator. Staff in the hallways were very helpful with the elevator.
I take my father here every Wednesday to get treatment and they treat him so good they strive to give him the best treatment posible
My experience with cancer institute they could have cures long time ago.but dealing with back n forth it's really hard. They give you medicine.
Excellent Doctor and excellent staff I’m grateful I find this hospital. Thanks God .
