John was awesome. He made sure we got the boots we needed and the proper fit. It was our first time at Fort Tuff and my husband VJ and I walked out of there with huge grins all excited about the boots we bought. Fabulous prices. We will be back next payday to get our winter outdoor gear. Great personal service and friendly. Caters to hard working people. Definitely get your money’s worth here.
Stopped in to get work apparel and was greeted right away and offered assistance. They ordered the pants in the size I needed and offered to call or text me when they arrive. I noticed that they placed a table in front of their counter and made a comment about their ingenuity in assisting customers in maintaining a 6' distance from the employee behind the counter. Upon that table they also had signs available for purchase that mentioned social distancing and use of mask. I truly appreciate their adaptability and their stance on keeping their customers as safe as possible during these trying times both on the job site and in their store. To the employees, thank you so much for your assistance and for looking out for the community that supports you.
I have used this store the last few years was going to the original store prior to replace my work boots. I have not had a single bad experience on any visit. The staff has never been overly pushy, and seem to just want you happy with your purchase when you leave. They don't push their opinion on you, but will give it if you ask. This is customer service done correctly.
I am a difficult customer. Read my other reviews and you'll see, getting a 5 star review out of me is quite rare. I don't look for trouble, but I'm very specific in what I want, and will spend money and time to get it. That said, the Manager Damian has on more than one occasion gone above and beyond for me, and I don't think it's because I'm special. I have heard nothing but good things about him, and his store, from friends, relatives, and coworkers. This is a man who apparently really loves his job, and knows how to make customers happy. The service has been so good, that I'd be willing to spend a little extra to go to Fort Tuff instead of other retailers, but it seems I don't have to. Fort Tuff and their Mother-ship Fort Western have always seemed to have the best selection and prices in town. I've long since stopped wasting my time elsewhere.
Found a pair of Rocky hunting boots online. I was a little nervous about my boot size so I went in to Fort to try them on. I decided that if the price was not too much I higher I would buy local. Not only did they have the exact hunting boot I was looking for but they were 10 dollars cheaper than Amazon and the lady who helped me was knowledgeable and very helpful. I will go back the next time I need cold weather or hunting clothing. Thank you for the excellent service.
Fort tuff is amazing John is who I typically ask for just because I’ve worked with him since I first started going to the store he’s very knowledgeable about products regardless if it’s footwear gloves or outerwear. Definitely has helped me out with birthdays and Xmas!!! Prices and location are definitely great also!
There aren’t many places in Lincoln with a staff that really knows their product and with such a selection. I’ve been shopping here since it opened because I know everyone’s name and feel like I’m being taken care of. They remember me when I walk through the door. The prices are fair if anyone were to do a little research they would see that in short order. Honestly, there are so few really local stores anymore that it’s nice to be able to count on these folks. Thank you John for always taking care of me.
I haven't had a pair of Doc Marten boots in forever! Stopped in last week got great service and assistance and really love them. Helpful staff! And yes they are dirty, but I've been wearing em, so comfy and strong! #AirWair
Amazing staff. I had to drive 3 hours just to find a specific item, and they worked hard to get me what I needed, plus discounted due for the trouble I had to go through to find what I needed. Highly recommend this store!
Great place for work wear. Not only boots-stop in for winter outerwear from all the great brands. Carhartt, Timberland , Key, Danner, Muck boots and a whole lot more. The staff will help you get fitted out from top to toes in quality products that will really last and give real value for money.
