Had been looking for sandals to go with a summer dress, I found a pair and wore them a couple of times, and now they are coming apart. I don't have the receipt and paid cash.
I bought a size up and it was too big for me. They did a return without the tags and ordered me the right size. I appreciate this type of customer service.
Several items didn't have bigger sizes only 00-2 out of 3 and up. Some staff are helpful and friendly others act like you're inconveniencing then to do anything. So many pieces are nearly identical anymore and still $$$
As a bigger girl, finding clothing can sometimes be challenging. I do not need more floral designs, I want something cute and edgy... And Torrid delivers on that! Truly the Hot Topic of plus sized fashion. The staff here are also nice and friendly. I wish it was a little affordable, but then again, what is super affordable these days?
Fantastic shop, my friend goes here to shop for plus size options, great selection and very helpful with ANY questions or concerns you may have. They can also order anything they don't have in store and send it STRAIGHT to your door. No need to come back and pick it up, plus you get torrid cash with purchases! Highly recommend

I don't ever write reviews, but I needed to do this. As a start, I have lost quite a bit of weight, but I know I'm not standard sizes so I decided to boost my confidence and actually buy an outfit since most of my currently wardrobe is unflattering. Walking in there was an overwhelming smoke smell coming from one of the employees I think her name was Missy, she has red hair. As I was browsing the store I overheard her talking about a beautiful woman she had recently checked out, she was basically fat shaming her and mentioned how "frumpy" she looked. Which being a bigger girl myself is extremely hurtful. After hearing that I decided that this store did not deserve my business because I could only imagine the horrid things she would say about me. I really hope that the rest of the company isn't like this, but I will never support anyone who has no shame and is willing to talk poorly about anyone else.
I love Torrid.. The majority of my clothes come from Torrid.. The best place for quality Plus size clothes & up to date fashion.. Denim Jeggings are my absolute favorite jeans. The staff has always been friendly, nice & helpful..
The clothing selection is large, the clothes are gorgeous but the prices are very steep. Bought my first clothes as a trans woman there and the staff is super friendly and nice.
My absolute favorite place for clothes size 10 to size 30. The sales are my favorite as well as the jeans & jeggings. The have amazing lingerie & under wear. The store doesn't usually carry anything over size 24-26 however you can sometimes find on sale racks those sizes, and definitely ONLINE. I have also been in torrid groups on Facebook, very cool way to find gently used torrid items by other torrid customers.. only use PayPal goods and services or ask for an invoice if you do purchase online in a group.
