A great experience. Clean rooms- which is most important to us. Friendly service. Their restaurant is DELICIOUS! It is slated to be renovated and it needs it- it’s dated. Plus the shower had quite poor pressure. Would recommend if found on sale or as part of a package. Would not pay rack price.
I had a free night stay at the hotel on Dec. 6, 2019. The front desk staffs are nice. I complained about the heavy smell in my first room. I thought that there was not much they could do about it. But the management actually gave me a free upgrade to the top floor. It was so nice of them. It was a pleasant surprise for me. However, I did not like my bed as it was too soft for my weak back. I couldn't sleep...so, I ended up going home to sleep at 3:30am in the morning as I did not feel right to make another complaint! In conclusion, I think Four Seasons have very professional management team to care for the guests. But the hotel may be due for renovation or redevelopment to be competitive in the market. The location is superb!
Staff were so lovely and hospitable! The many personalized touches like leaving a piece of birthday cake with a personal bday message in our room, for my husband just made our stay that much more special. Beds were comfy, sheets were crisp, bathrooms were clean, room maintenance was excellent. Loved the heated indoor/outdoor pool! Take advantage of this hotel before it shuts down in a few months!
Amazing staff! Comfortable bed and clean room. The hotel is on the older side and you can tell it in some places but the rooms were updated and nice. The pool area is nice and is great that there are both indoor and outdoor options. Great location that is convenient to all of the things you want to do. Would definitely stay here again.
I made reservations at Yew to celebrate some birthdays. The restaurant is located in the Four Seasons. It's beautifully designed with high ceilings, soft lighting, fireplace, etc that sets a lovely ambiance. The menu is quite robust with seafood being the main theme. The price point is on the higher end, but this to me was expected as the hotel is upscale. The service was amazing. We had one minor issue with an item we ordered and I mentioned it in passing to our server. I didn't expect anything to come of it, but our server presented us with a couple of extra desserts and an apology. My party had a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend Yew for a special night out.
Wonderful staff, lovely location, you certainly get what you pay for and more. A great way to feel important on the business trip, or to travel in luxury for the leisure trip. Pool/fitness area is top notch, and the atmosphere in all parts of the facility deliver on the promise of comfort and luxury. Service here is also a step above, and every one works seamlessly to make you feel special and make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Have had the pleasure of an upgraded room a number of times here, but even the "basic" rooms are an absolute joy. 100% recommend if this is the price tier you are shopping in!
This hotel earned 5 stars with ease. From the door man, to the front desk, to the concierge, and to the restaurant staff, each aspect was top notch. They were personable and addressed us warmly on each meeting. They certainly know how to make you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are clean and the towels smell fresh. They even got us a bathrobe for our toddler. Our toddler was so comfortable that he made conversation with the staff. Well done Four Season Hotel!
OK Hotel. felt more like a conference hotel rather than a luxurious four seasons hotel. Spacious room. I had the premier room with a lovely view on a high floor. Bed was very comfortable. The receptionist who checked me in was a little arrogant. Didn't explain anything and didn't have the time to say anything. Just charged my card and handed me the keys. I stayed one night in a twin room and the other two nights in a premier room. They didn't have a large choice of dining to be honest. Either Yew a fish restaurant or in room dining. I sat in the lounge and it took for ages for someone to serve me a drink. It is my least favourite four seasons hotel.
Top level service and cleanliness. I feel compelled to point out that there is no physical spa on the premises, however there are spacious saunas in both the male and female locker rooms at the pool area. For those who seek out dumbbells & barbells, the gym equipment was great multiple squat racks but it shares space with the indoor part of the pool and whatever noise & excitement is going on around the pool. Food and service at their restaurant, Yew, was very good. It’s a solid hotel, yet I’d probably check out someplace else next time I’m in Vancouver. Definitely stay someplace else if you are wanting an on-site spa.
Beautiful hotel central to downtown and access to all sights and transport. Great restaurant, best seafood tagliatelle ever and a chocolate cup dessert the chef should be locked up for creating - it would be more addictive than coke the diet version of course. Superb room and very helpful reception and concierge staff. Go stay. You'll love it.
