My daughter loved this park!!!!! She is sensory sensitive so the water/ spray feature freaked her out a little bit until she learned the rotation of them and was able to time them. Children played a bit dangerously by adding water to the slides to make them a water slide. The problem with this is that is made it VERY slippery for little ones. My daughter insisted on going down the slide I didn't know it would make it slippery considering all the other children were much bigger so the speed didn't change. My 4 year old daughter on the other hand almost flew off the slide. Yeah, no more slide after that. Parents are busy socializing and playing in sports themselves or on the phone. They didn't really get involved. I do like the parents were so comfortable with their child being there they didn't feel the need to actually watch them. On the other hand, it made it difficult to handle situations between children. I don't have any issue assisting children who need a little guidance so it wasn't a problem for me. The park is beautiful, clean, lots of open space for field sports. Only thing is none of the structural equipment is in the shade. It's boiling hot by the sun. You NEED the water feature at this park to pour water on the structure so your child can enjoy it. I really enjoyed the fact all the seating is facing the play structures. It was easy to watch my child as she plays. Overall I like that I felt safe, I felt my child was safe most of the time. Beautiful park. There's a seating area under a gazebo, perfect for party of like 20 people or so. You might be better off bringing additional seating for really large families. Doesn't seem necessary to reserve the area, just go early and set up. Overall 5 out of 5 stars!!!! Playground: Wonderful, clean and safe. Rubber soft mat under their feet for safe falls. Restrooms: No restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Yes, bring your leash. There's plenty of space for your dog to run around but too many children playing and families. So plan to leash them around families. Picnic area: Yes they have a covered gazebo and plenty of shade area in the grass for traditional family picnic. Grass is nice, soft and green.
Such a nice park. Very safe and very big. Lots of room to run and play soccer on the field. There is even a basketball court. Took my little dog and felt safe the whole time. Heavily populated and in a good neighborhood. Really nice playground as well.
I'll be honest... I love this park. Very clean and children are always having fun here including my own babies. There is barbecue places, a field, and the location is right next to a school and down the street is a grocery store. Plenty of parking and a nice comfortable walking path big enough for bicycle riding and any wheel chairs. Variety of playground amenities for the children to have fun and seating if you get tired. Plus plenty of shade and developed in a comfortable neighborhood. Furthermore, there is a bed of rocks next to the park that kids love to play around and experience nature. With all the amenities, you would think the kids would be playing but I mostly find them playing with God given rocks and sticks ...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring your children here to have the best time especially during spring God bless....
Just found this park the other day. We’ve just recently moved out to Modesto. My kids absolutely love this park! This one is now our go to! Has two playgrounds, one for older kids and one for younger kids perfect for my baby and has a tall sprinkler shower like for the kids to play in during hot days. It also has massive grass area and bbq grills for anyone who wants to throw a party, and a basketball court. Best park we’ve found this far.
Water features were okay, love the padded ground, one of the slides was boarded off, and wish there was more shade over the play ground area. All in all it was fun. Playground: Again love the padded ground but the play ground wasn't very shaded and one of the slides was boarded off for repairs. Restrooms: One person bathroom but was very very very clean! Dog-friendliness: Lots of grass for dogs to run Picnic area: Nice shaded picnic area
Beautiful park in a nice neighborhood. Has bathrooms, covered seating, grills, a splash zone, basketball courts, huge field to run around and a spongy ground for the kiddos.
No home less around. Clean park with lots of shade trees. Water features when weather is hot. Next to a middle school and an elementary school. Joggable all the way arround. It pays to pay the Mello-Roos I guess. Playground: Clean. Vibrant. Toddler and older options Dog-friendliness: Trash cans available for tossing poop Picnic area: Benches available throughout
Best maintained park I’ve been to in Modesto so far. Good fields for picnicking, covered tables with BBQ grill, playground, basketball courts, and today the only open and working public toilets to be found in Modesto of the 4 or 5 I’ve tried that are normally unlocked this time of year- and they’re clean!
Good clean park ,seems safe for the children to play, not any unhouse people hanging when I was there, unlike other parks.
Beautiful Park , there a section for toddlers and a section for bigger kids and I also have a lovely shaded picnic area. My only concern is there is a old Pond cover in rocks and I think it's dangerous for the kids because it's a deep ditch, there needs to fence around it or cover it in dirt so the kids don't get hurt
