WOW - one of the best chili dogs I've ever had and that's saying a lot!!! My wife and I stopped in here on a Thursday evening in December 2022 as we traveled up from Florida to St. Simon's Island for a holiday weekend. We arrived about 7:30pm and they took our order and offered up a few suggestions. We opted for a cheeseburger deluxe for her and a cheeseburger and chili dog for me along with some chili cheese fries for both of us. The cheeseburgers were good but the chili dog was OUTSTANDING. All of the buns were toasted/griddled just right and the chili cheese fries had a house made white queso made with pepper jack cheese. Helpful hint: Save yourself a little cash by opting for water instead of a fountain drink $3 each and use that savings towards a milkshake instead.
Place was clean, had some cool posters on wall. Chocolate milkshake was good only has one size. Wife got hot dog with chili and queso cheese, fries and drink. It was decent although fries are a little salty but hot dog was really good. Prices are fair and staff was very nice.Food: 4/5
Amazing food here, they have one of the best fried fish sandwiches on the island. I love the cereal milkshakes! Try the fruity pebble one next time you stop in. Great folks running this place, the cashiers are ALL kind & attentive, everything goes super quick here so you'd think it's fast food but it's not.Food: 4/5
Stopped in for a burger and a shake for my husband yesterday. I was just wanting some water due to it being hot out. We sat down and was offered a sample of southern pecan ice cream. Wow it was excellent. So today we stopped in for a southern pecan milkshake and added Carmel. Was to die for!!Food: 5/5
Food was great! Definitely get a milkshake! Peach was fantastic. Great A/C too. The tables were a little sticky but I think it was just because its an older building.Food: 5/5
OMG, this was good! the Pimento cheeseburger was so good, cooked perfectly. The onion rings are the best I have had! Milkshakes are very good too! I'm going back tomorrow. Highly recommend! Staff was very friendly.
Perhaps one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they want this place to be a great experience for folks wanting to enjoy a fun meal with family. Unlike most places, it was very clean. I would highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
What a cute place. We had a very hard time finding a burger under $16 in st Simons. But this place we got 2 whole meals for that same price. The burger and chili dogs were perfect. Homemade chili you can't beat. Definitely going back. Staff was also super niceFood: 5/5
I don't know what to say. Food cost more and you get way way less. Very let down. Nice people but it's not like it was... Not at all. They use to serve enough to be happy with but not now. Hopefully they do better.Food: 2/5
Nice remodel from Fairy Queen, clean, nice staff, friendly manager. Great for teens and vacationers wanting your classic burger and hot dog. The milkshake was really good, probably the best part.
