This place is worth every penny. We started with she crab soup and it's the best I've had, PERIOD. The flavor is on point and soo much crab in it. The crab cakes were big and full of lump, NO FILLER. As mentioned by others, even the bread was delicious. To top off the experience, service was exceptional. I highly recommend to everyone.
Me and my wife came for dinner after she hyped it up as I had never ate here before and they DID NOT disappoint! We shared a chicken tender plate and still had left overs! Also the pumpkin bread and jalapeño cornbread that comes with your meal was to die for! Very big portions and well worth the money. The chicken tenders were HUGE and very delicious! Our waiter was excellent and took very good care of us. 10/10 recommend for delicious and well priced food, will be back to try some seafood next time!
The spicy finish to the fish was really good along with great rice and fries. The fried chicken was OK and the salad was good too. The crab cake was nice but the shrimp fritters or something similar were just OK. The servers are great. Vegetarian options: Limited options
Barbara Jeans is on of those places you know your always gonna get a great meal. Every time we’re on the island we come here a time or two. Always consistent always delicious. I’m from Maryland and get great crab cakes but I always get one here…..delicious! Coconut shrimp great. All the veggies delicious. And the trio of breads always yummy. Thanks so much for continuing to do such a great job. Always on our hit list!
Stopped by for peach cobbler. I was pleased they had some. Met a knowledgeable, friendly wait staff: GW. His suggestion was an 11.5 out of 10. YES! The peach cobbler, with fresh whipped cream is that delicious!!! I am going back to try more of their menu, and everyone who has eaten there loved it. Wheelchair accessibility: Bo States.
The crab soup was really thick. More like a dip than soup. The flavor was a little bland for me but it did have a lot of crab meat. We ordered onion rings and cheese fries for appetizers. Save your money on the cheese fries. Way overpriced for what it was. The onion rings were delicious though. Overall, the food was okay and so was the service but it was a lot of money for a so-so meal. They have a kids menu but it wasn't offered to my daughter and we didn't think to ask. We went with typical lunch fare and sat inside. Food was good but service was below average, and that’s being generous. Our order was taken, our food was brought, our ticket was brought. No drink refills offered, no how is/was your meal, no offer for dessert. I may eat here again, but I’ll try somewhere else next visit.
Amazing food and amazing service! Must eat when in St. Simons! We sat outside as it was a beautiful day! Pet friendly if you sit outside, they even provide water for the pet We loved the bread and the sweat teas! And food was all very good! The sides were great too! We will be back!
Amazing southern cooking and seafood! Our server, Megan, went ABOVE AND BEYOND! We were a part of 4 adults and 4 kids,and she was amazing with our kids and allergy needs. We’ll be back and will ask for Megan again!Food: 5/5
The food was good. My crab cakes were bit over cooked. The service was super slow. This place is nice but with little kids it was way to long of wait for food. Our order was taken quickly and about 30-40mins they brought our crab cake, shrimp , fries, burgers.Food: 4/5
