Food was delicious, the crusty celery in my bloody Mary not so much! Presentation means so much! The shrimp app platter was delicious.... enough for 212pcs and the fries were yummy too! The place was busy and overall a 4.8 place a little outdated but the food taste saved the day!!Food: 4/5
Thank you Zack for a delightful experience. I thought all the staff was exceptional, thoughtful, cheerful and attentive. This was a recommendation from a local and she was correct. The food was good, fresh, tasty and served hot. They are famous for their shrimp, so try that when you go. Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk accessibility, no stairs.
This was a wonderful experience dining here. The shrimp is the very best I've ever had. Service is fantastic and staff is awesome. Manager Dawnie is on top of things and she will be by to check on you personally. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Lots of seating indoors and outside. Lots of selections on the menu to choose from. Daily lunch specials that you should ask about. Very reasonable prices and the food comes out in a blink of an eye! It's awesome to dine in a restaurant that is doing everything so very well. Their hard work is paying off. Restaurant is clean throughout and bathrooms are clean and stocked. Don't forget to get a cone or bowl of their complimentary ice cream with lots of toppings to choose from. Tell Dawnie the manager that Joe sent you! Great job folks! We had a great time, food was delicious and service was amazing. The booth we were seated in had food in it and i had to wipe it out, also it had a strange smell. Our waitress forgot the ice cream, but besides that everything was great! I had the crab cake sandwich, my son had the shrimp scampi, and my daughter had grilled cheese.Food: 5/5
Oh. My. Goodness. Love at first bite! If I could have proposed to this food I would have. just kidding but this food was seriously amazing. We had to wait for someone and our waiter was refreshingly patient. The owner was very nice and welcoming and he made you feel instantly at home. If I could give this place a six star review I would but they’ll have to live with five! Anyways go to Iguanas and your life will improve- I promise!
Had lunch a little earlier at Iguanas. Shrimp & Grits - lightly blackened and juicy shrimp over fried grit cakes and topped with a parmesan bacon cream sauce. Different take on grits, and really good. Fried coconut shrimp with a sweet sauce for dipping. Club sandwich with a side of fries. And, of course there were hush puppies! Great stop, cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. Definitely one to go back to! Parking can be difficult close when it’s busy, but by the park near the lighthouse is usually plenty of parking.
I will admit, I didn't have high expectations when we walked in. The interior decor had all the screamings of a tourist trap restaurant with seaside ornaments. We were quickly seated and had excellent service right away! Our waiter went over the menu with us and told us of the favorite dishes served. I had the shrimp and grits, their grits are done so uniquely and they were FANTASTIC! My wife had the combo platter, and her meal was excellent. My 19 year old son went full on hungry man and ordered the king crab legs 1.5 lbs worth they too were delicious! Oh, did I neglect to mention the free soft serve ice cream station? Right, FREE and unlimited!! Kudos to everyone at Iguanas, the staff absolutely crushed it and on a busy end of summer weekend no less!!! Absolutely recommend this establishment.
One of best all around restaurants in area. They have great crab cakes and fresh shrimp. The stake is also very good. They have soft served ice cream with meal. I got pick 2 for $25 Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian dishes Parking: Parking is in front nice area it does fill up at dinner time. Kid-friendliness: They have kid’s menu that my little boy liked Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have setting outside an inside I did see two folks in wheelchairs the days we went there
Fantastic!!! There was a wait, so we sat at the bar. I am so glad we did! Amazing service, and super friendly too. We ordered appetizers for our meal...the shrimp sampler, chargrilled oysters with parmesan, and a dozen raw oysters. Delicious!! They have complimentary soft-serve ice cream with every meal too. You definitely won't leave here hungry.
The kind of dining experience that brings you back! Our server was friendly and attentive. The manager, Micheal, checked with his customers and was friendly and intent on us getting great food and service. The food was plentiful and excellent!Food: 5/5
