Great fun for the whole family. We got to enjoy terrifying ride to the top via skyline. This led to a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and the strip. Walking across the bridge was not as terrifying as the lift but it was scary for those who do not do well with heights. Worth a visit for sure.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
This place is beautiful a must do when visiting Gatlinburg. The view from any spot on the top is beautiful. The bridge is incredible and so cool in the center to see the bottom. They also take your picture before you go to top. Give you ticket you buy online or at the top. Tickets cost 31.95 adult 24.95 senior children 18.95 under 3 free.
The view from the top was amazing! It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The place got few things to do and the bridge was amazing. The shop and the food was okay and we got to sit there have a quick bit to eat and got some drinks. Will defiantly come back for more.
When I first got here, the line was down the whole street and almost turned away. I’m so glad I did not. I would recommend try to get here during the sunset time to get both the sun light and night view from the top. The views are great. The little store on top has some food and drinks to offer. I came during the holidays and it was amazing to see all the lights and trees decorated up to. Def Worth every second I spent in the line. Even that, the line moved pretty quickly!
Decent attraction to visit. The prices seemed a little steep, and to be honest I probably would not have paid them if I had to pay full price. My cabin I was staying at gave a coupon for a free ride up. This costs just under $40 per adult to do. If you do it a second time it is only $2, and then it is free as many times as you want to do it after that for the day. Once up there you have the option to get some food, stay around for a while if you want, walk the swinging bridge, or home around the ridge of the mountain if you don't feel adventurous enough for the swinging bridge. The view from the top is good. You can see pretty much all of Gatlinburg. It looks like they are getting ready to do some renovation. The bottom is currently just a booth with some canopies set up, but looks like they are building a new building by the way everything is torn up around it.
What a bridge! What a View! Definitely top 5 things to do in Gatlinburg! We grabbed our tickets and rode up the skylight. My wife is a bit shy with heights so I encouraged her to look out on the horizon. The upper area has a couple options, we went to the small bridge first. While a bit springy I definitely liked the idea of getting used to it first. After we went across the trail and came back across the 600 foot long bridge. The middle had about 50 feet of glass sections where you could see down 140 feet! Loved it! Afterward we grabbed a couple beers up top, grabbed 2 of the 20 or so rocking chairs and watched the sun go down. Because of the mountain ridge we could only see glowing colors on the peaks, not the sun itself, but it was worth the wait. The ride down is easy, but you definitely see how high up you are!
My whole family enjoyed this. We went up in the afternoon, walked the trail and tulip tower, then crossed the bridge. We returned in the evening to enjoy the sun setting on the mountains, the fire pit, and the company of people we chatted with while just enjoying the view. After dark was great to do the trail and bridge again and there was live music that evening as well. Worth the all day come-and-go pass. The gift shop is reasonably priced. Don’t miss the flag that was there during the wildfires hanging in the cafe.
This was really fun! Buy tickets online for sure skip the line! The views are breath taking. The bridge has a 30 ft plexiglass section, so go on a clear day to take advantage of those see through floor views. There is a tower and another bridge section as well up there. The views from the balcony and the shop are amazing. You can stay up as long as you like and just catch the lift when you are ready to come back down. Really relaxing experience! best views, higher than the needle.
I usually don’t spend money on ‘touristy’ things but this was better than I had expected. The ticket was valid till 9:59pm so we went twice, once around noon and then around 9:45pm to experience night views. Ticket was around $36 including taxes for adults I didn’t see any student discounts. The sky bridge is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America and most of the area around was burnt to ashes in 2016 fires. They have rebuilt most of it. The ticket gives access to the Gondola, sky bridge, restaurant and tulip tower. We parked at our hotel and walked to the entrance, so didn’t have to worry about the parking. It was lit during night time and cooler too.
Such a cool experience. The gondola ride up was amazing!! You can see all the mountains and town below. Nice bar with cocktails, beer and snacks when you reach the top. They have chairs and tables to sit at as well. I personally didnt do the sky bridge, but the family did and had a great time! It was pretty shaky it’s a suspended bridge so it’s bound to happen and had 3 plexiglass panels so you can look straight down.
