Grand Jeté classes combine ballet techniques, strength training and stretching to create graceful, lean physiques. Our excellent instructors lead 55 minute routines that help you to lose pounds and inches while strengthening your arms, legs and core - no dance experience necessary. An in-house boutique offers fitness wear and accessories that allow you to complete your workout and return to your day looking amazing.

GRAND JETÉ barre fitness and boutique is an offering imagined by dancer and artist, Laura Roy Armistead. Wanting to serve others while remaining passionate about her life’s work, Laura decided to open Grand Jeté in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Laura desired to create a beautiful studio and boutique environment where anyone would feel welcome and excited about an intense and fun workout!
Each Grand Jeté WORKOUT is 55 minutes. The workout includes classical ballet techniques, maximum use of the ballet barre, strength training and deep, effective stretching. The workout will enable your body to become both lean and strong. Your posture and flexibility will improve, leaving you feeling confident and invigorated.
We offer classes every day including weekends.

Our BOUTIQUE is filled with glamorous and unique apparel. Classic workout pants, tights and tanks are paired with stylish accessories enabling you to complete your workout and return to your day ready to look your best. Grand Jeté offers fragrances for yourself and your home, and refreshments to refuel after completing your workout. The boutique is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
