Great little stop along the way on our families east coast adventure. The staff were very friendly and informative. The house is a beautiful moment in time

There was just our family there for a visit to the Yeo House and we got a tour of the complete house which was very informative.
Amazing history and artifacts, about early PEI shipbuilding that rivaled that of England. Also a one room schoolhouse and Yeo's residence open to tour.
Sone really interesting artifacts here, a lot to read on the walls. The most interesting was the size of the trees that used to exist on Epikwit before ship building with PEI lumbar became a thing.
This museum is not large but is packed with loads of interesting information on the local ship building. The scale and nature of the local ship building industry was truly surprising. The displays are well laid out out and present the information clearly. The staff where cheerful and knowledgeable. The grounds include the historic home of the Yeo family. It has been restored to 1865 appearance and is well worth taking the time to tour. There are staff on the sight who will happily answer your questions. T
I had no idea about the shipbuilding history in PEI! The tour guide was entertaining and polite. The blacksmith was also informative.
Great family experience. Very knowledgeable staff. We went twice this summer.
Ghost tour was great, an interesting way to spend time in the afternoon.
My kids loved the schoolhouse and the tour of the big house was really interesting, the kids liked going all the way up to the top lookout.
