Description

Noah's Ark Animal Hospitals offer preventive and wellness care for pets, and complete medical, surgical, and dental services. We have a complete pet pharmacy including prescription diets as well as our TLC boarding and grooming services.

We have two fully staffed hospitals to provide support for all your pet's needs. We are amongst the few hospitals in Virginia that provide overnight supervision for hospitalized and boarding pets. Our Night Nurses work Mon- Fri and we have a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian on call until 11pm for after-hours consult in case of an emergency. Our staff regularly attend continuing eduction seminars to remain at the forefront of the veterinary practice.

My previous vet was no longer an option so my mom referred me to Gunston. The doc that saw my girl was awesome. She was very warm and friendly towards both me and my dog. I’m happy to have found a new vet for my very shy and anxious girl she usually is so nervous and irritated at the vet.
Staff are super friendly. I’ve had great experiences with the staff here. Bourbon’s doctor is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Immunizations are a bit pricey. However, I had a wellness plan at my previous animal hospital when Bourbon was a puppy. I would say that even though the occasional doctor visits here are pricey, it is still way cheaper than paying monthly for a wellness plan AND still having to pay for some things not covered under the wellness plan for that visit. All in all, I highly recommend Gunston Animal Hospital to everybody!!
They take awesome care of my two fur babies! I cannot thank them enough. I definitely recommend them.
Answered my call midnight on a Saturday. Helped me get Chico to his final end, over in Springfield. Always was Chico’s vet. Great spot. Rip little guy we will miss him

My visits are always pleasant. I have an elderly rescue dog named Lil Debbie, and they know her by name, which is appreciated when I call. Also, whenever they are booked up, and my dog needs a visit, they find a way to fit her in.
Love everybody at Gunston. They take amazing care of my elderly cat. I think they love her as much as I do. The entire staff is knowledgeable and kind.
Dr Reed is excellent and answered all of my questions with my 16 week puppy Ivy. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Reed. Thank you!

I love this vet so much. I have been going here for the past year or two now, and I am so grateful for having this vet near me. The staff are super sweet and helpful. Dr. Heather Hurst is phenomenal!! My two cats get checked by her mostly, and I love her. She is super knowledgeable, and you can tell she has years of experience. One of my cats recently had a dental surgery, and she is already recovering quickly. Dr. Hurst and the staff allowed me to be stress-free through out and after the procedure. Highly recommend this place!!
