Great selection of produce and other items. Friendly staff. -1 star: Have purchased live lobsters from here before. While I did receive a refund when the lobsters all died within 10 minutes, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen live lobsters mixed in with dead ones, which is very concerning. While the price on live lobster is competitive, I’ll happily pay more to not get sick. -1 star: Bottle return is very consistently down, making it impossible to return bottles/cans. Customer service desk only accepts 20 at a time. Which I’m assuming is a NYS violation? Not positive though. Hopefully management sees this and improves on these points.
Although a little more expensive. The store is just big enough so you can remember where items are and to me is that their handicap carts are always ready to go. Not only are they clean but someone is there to help you to the car.
This used to be my go to supermarket. There is a Citizens Bank within the supermarket and I worked there part time in the bank for 4 years while I was in college. I felt the food here was fresh and I stopped there everyday so I got all the ingredients fresh. However as time passed and I stopped doing the grocery shopping and in between things changed and my choice was all over the place. It was courtesy of Hannaford that I found out that all the fresh fruits and vegetables are coated with wax. That is when I made sure that I either wash my fruits really well or peel the skin before i eat them. Compared to other supermarkets the isles are spaced better. They have the rewards program so feel free to sign up if you shop there often.
Well stocked, excellent employees. Awesome selection of meats, vegetables and fish. Pleasant experience shopping here.A+
The store, the staff, the patrons that I've encountered are pretty awful. The layout of the store is inconvenient and the prices are outrageous. I haven't ran into a single friendly or courteous staff member or shopper. Everyone here seems miserable, except the 2 employees smoking weed right outside the building.
Absolutely terrible, upstate NY sux. It's better than price chopper but that's not saying much. Terrible
The employees at this store are so nice! It's really makes me look forward to running a mundane errand like grocery shopping. The store also carries a lot of vegan specialty items including impossible ravioli, unreal deli meats, treeline cheeses, and so much more.
First visit was very impressive.Polite staff and clean!

They carry some unusual items, like "Hot Chocolate syrup with Sea Salt" & "Sapjack Organic Maple Syrup". Next time I go in, I will check to see if they still carry exotic meats!
