Heiwa Tofu

Heiwa tofu is predominantly a tofu factory but if you happen to drive by, it’s worth a stop: they take the factory “rejects” only cosmetically imperfect and sell them to passersby for much cheaper. The tofu is absolutely delicious and lasts for weeks to months in the vacuum seal.

I first found Heiwa Tofu at my local Hannaford having never heard of the brand. Upon opening the texture was noticeably firmer than the extra firm of several natural brands. Even the taste uncooked was better than what I was familiar with. I usually pan fry in a skillet or wok and was Very pleased. This is hands down the best tofu available in stores that I have found. Give it a try!

OMG just had their firm tofu tonight for dinner and it was amazing! Not only did it not stick to the pan when cooking but came out crispy and tasty! Something I have been unable to achieve ever with other name brand tofus! I had just about given up on tofu when my husband found their product at our local Hannaford and I am soo glad he bought it! Who would of thought one could find such quality tofu right in my neighboring state of Maine. Please dont change a thing! Thankyou!!!!!
