Amazing customer service and everyone treats you like you've come there for years. Very nice small town feel in downtown Yakima.
Excellent service and products.
Tried to get a quote from this company and they were condescending in their email and never got back even after I followed up. I guess they are plenty busy and don't need the business for a new construction custom home build for interior doors.
When I went there I quickly realized that if You are not a man they don’t want you there. I finally found a very nice and helpful young man but when I went to pay and to ask if they could special order something for me they acted as though I was not speaking English. Needless to say, I went someplace else and spent my money. They must be doing pretty well and not in need of new business. I will never return.
Great prices. Knowledgeable, helpful and quick staff. Easy loading of supplies as well as help. Get in get your building supplies and lumber get out to the job and get stuff done. Keeps your wallet fatter, ol' lady happier, and your money local. Well that's a win! IMO! check em out near the airport in Yakima!
Excellent Customer Service! Drove in the parking lot and asked the guy walking by If I needed to go inside first to have some wood cut. He said no, what do you need? We then went into the warehouse and he helped me figure out the best design for the platform I was building. A few other guys showed up and jumped in to help also. After all the cuts were done, he carried everything out to my rig and I was out of there in no time. I think his name was Mark. Mark, thank you so much for the excellent customer service, it’s a rare thing these days. I will be a Hellison Lumber customer for life. If you need anything to do with lumber and/or supplies, go to Hellison. Thanks again, I’ll be back.
This is a family owned and operated business that has high quality employees. They have a long history of providing excellent lumber, hardware, tools and other products for builders in and around the Yakima Valley.
Excellent customer service, they greet you by first name. Their prices are way better than the box stores. I support locally owned businesses. I ordered a 2"x16"x10' black walnut board for a custom wine rack I am making for my customer.
Came here today to get some 1x8's for a project I'm working on. Every time I've been here I've had amazing service! One young man helped me choose my 1x8's and 2x6's and even helped me carry it back to my car. I realized I needed some 4 penny nails and another young man helped me with find what I needed. Overall, I left feeling like I got exactly what I needed with A+ service. I drive all the way from Selah to buy lumber at Helliesen because honestly, it's the best lumber yard in Yakima Valley. Thanks Helliesen!
Not at all happy with the guy who delivered to my place on Friday. Drove his forklift onto my lawn and left a large indentation in my front lawn. You would think they would be intelligent enough not to drive that much weight up on a soft wet lawn. Material is straight but about a third of it is full of knots. Better quality than the big box stores just make sure you don’t trust the delivery drivers!!!
