Beautiful park just down the hill from two of the best museums in the country. Park has a 1 Mike walk trail. Small pond normally with ducks or geese. Play area for children. Great play to talk a walk and unwind after work.
My son and I went here after checking out the Birds or Prey exhibit at the museum. Cool place, but why are there so many 40+ dudes in cars hanging out. Made me not want to bring the rest of the kids here.
TThis is nice looking park with ppavillions. Playground on both ends often park a paved walking path and more walking paths through the woods. There is duck pond and stage. The one draw back is that it is also a favorite place for druggies to shoot up. You might find syringes on the ground. They lock the bathrooms up unless there is a special event so if you go behind the building you might find human waste..
Not a horrible park. Definitely needs more care and upkeep. Very distracting to see all the old men randomly meeting up with other old men and disappearing behind buildings while trying to let my kids play. Apparently this is not a recent or not well known problem. *Follow up: Seen two cars from APD roll through today while my little girl played with the Geese and slides and over half the people there cut out at the sight of them. Thank you Anniston Police Department.
Clean but didn't know it was closed after dark.
The scenery is amazing and not to mention the nature history museum in it it is one of my favorites in relaxing and taking a break
It's pitiful looking! No flowers no decorations nothing! Tree limbs hanging in water thats barely even there. Not really sure what the 3 ducks are swimming in.
Not many people are ever there so it's very nice and relaxing to walk around the pond.
The duck pond is not being taken care of. Leaving a awful smell and visual.
It's a nice place to visit but the restrooms are always locked. What is up with that?
