It was a gathering for moslems, Christians and Jewish to express love and humanity to each other and expell violence ànd hatred among each other. Playground: V good and spacious. Picnic area: Very wide and family access.
The park is huge, clean and all ages friendly. My kids had a great time and I was impressed with the adult exercise equipment. Very nice.
Great park in the middle of Anniston. This place also has a water park in the summer and sometimes live music. Police station right across the street so funny business is minimal.
Me and my cousin went to the Heritage Festival. It's been many years since I've last attended. These past two years have reiterated the importance of not only supporting my culture, but being extremely proud of all that extends from it. The beautiful, bad, and ugly things that makes us unique. Our ancestors fought hard and went through things we will never be able to simply put into words. But, I can truthfully say, they would have been proud Saturday. We came together as a unit, in nothing but peace, love, and happiness. I had a wonderful time! My only complaint was the jumbo screens need to be larger and placed in a better position so everyone in the park can both see and hear the entertainment. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.
Great park, has multiple playgrounds and the water pad was recently updated and it's pretty great. Plenty of places to sit while your kids do their thing. My kids love it.
Nice, well kept park. Close to a bad neighborhood, but directly in front of the police station. We went last during the Knox Concert.
Do not recommend taking your children. Alot of homeless people. I couldn't focus trying to be on High alert due to bad vibes. Homeless everywhere. Please take your kids else where.

Found syringes at the bathroom. So be careful of your children
The park was clean and welcoming. I attended a convention called Annicon when I went, which included many anime, gaming, and comic fans. It was very spacious and didn't feel crowded though there were plentiful people. I wouldn't mind visiting the park even without an event going on.
