Lake Dow Animal Hospital

Lake Dow is the best in the area! Staff is amazing, friendly and always eager to answer questions. Prices are great, in comparison to others. When my older cat needed dental work a few years ago, they were our best option and I’m so glad we found them! We appreciate them so much.

Had a few hour wait but i was a walk in with a serious matter. No one else would work us in. We feel much better now knowing our baby is ok. Very affordable, nice and a lot of nurses. Thanks for taking care of our girl we have a new vet!

We brought our family cat in Siamese. It was a week where the vet was in surgery and wasn’t seeing walk-ins. Siamese was very sick with a growth in her mouth that manifested over the weekend. We got there at 0730 and was the 1st patient there. The receptionist was kind to us and allowed us to be a walk-in. The vet techs were sooo compassionate. The vet was so knowledgeable and kind. Siamese had multiple brain tumors and a lung mass. She was at the end of her life. They allowed me to go pick up my daughter 17 from school so she could be present during Siamese’s final moments. They were best friends. We were able to hold and love on Siamese as she pasted over the rainbow bridge. The entire office was extremely sweet and helpful. They made our hard decision so much easier. We received a sympathy card in the mail a week later with everyone’s signatures. It was a real nice and personable touch. My daughter also got a plaster impression of Siamese paw print. Thank you soooooo much for all that y’all do for us humans and our love ones!!!!

We've been coming here for a year for well visits, sick visit, and a euthanasia and they are the best. Super kind and caring with our dogs. The prices are very good too especially with multiple dogs to care for. If your appointment is during the walk in hours the wait can be long so I schedule when it's not walk in hours to avoid that.

We started utilizing the Veterinary Services of Lake Dow Animal Hospital back in 2018. At first it went very well and we thought this was going to be good for us and our new puppy. As time went on we grew familiar with the practice and noticed the amount of patients was growing exponentially. As that happened the level of personal service dropped considerably. We noticed longer waiting periods to be seen and less time spent with the one you brought to the clinic. Consequently it was to our advantage to return to Henry County Veterinary Hospital for our personal pet needs. So glad we made the move and we wish Lake Dow well in their endeavors.

Happy to have found this place. The prices are affordable and the doctors are kind. They have walking hours twice a day right when they open and at 2pm. You can also keep track of your pet's records through the website or an app. Surgeries are affordable but that means the wait list is long, so get on the list as soon as you can. Highly recommended.

Love this place and the people who work here. It's very clean and they're good with Gizmo. LOL he is a cat who can give mean looks when he's mad.

If you want an Animal hospital that actually cares for your Fur babies and has wonderful customer service, this is the location. I drive roughly 40 mins passing many animal hospitals to get to this one. They charge reasonable prices for their services, usually almost always cheaper than other Hospitals I used to go to. I love that every-time I go they treat both I and my animals with respect and kindness. If you’re looking for a new Animal Hospital, I highly recommend Lake Dow Animal Hospital.

My dog has been going here for 9 years. She receives the best care from the staff at Lake Dow. The only challenge is that business has grown so much that it’s tough to get in when your dog is sick. They have been working on a solution but be prepared to wait maybe 3-4 hrs. You have to make an appointment a month ahead if you have a specific time you need to see the vet like for routine shots.

Recent issues with walk-ins due to one doctor's illness and hospitalization, but remarkable they offer a very generous walk- in schedule daily remarkable!!! Despite this, my first 2 visits, I found all staff to be pleasant and professional throughout. The center is clean and accommodating for patients and their humans and very affordable. I will be moving soon but plan to make the drive back for my pets' healthcare.
