WOW, WOW WOW!! We love Langdon Farms! First class , country club experience at a Public course. I've played plenty of private courses not as nice as Langdon Farms. We have played several courses in Oregon and we wanted to play somewhere special our last round before heading back to NY 1and I definitely made the right choice
I've been showing up for the 5 years, helping with the credit card processing for the Wilsonville Chamber annual golf tournament. Every time I show up, the staff is always helpful and pleasant. And it's a beautiful course right off of I-5 come check them out!
First time playing. What a gem! The greens, the fairways and even the rough are fabulous!
Great food. Can't tell you much about the course, but the red barn for weddings is really picturesque. If you're going to eat at the grill, my suggestion is the bacon burger. And their desserts are amazing and worth the wait.
Played in a tournament held at Langdon Farms. Always a great venue. The course was in great shape and well maintained. Especially, nice this time of year with the flower baskets in full bloom. The greens were well kept and consistent. Pleasure to play and enjoy - they do it right !!!
What a delightful venue for weddings. Mt. Hood in the background, beautiful landscapes. What a lovely day.
Beautiful course and good prices for the value. My two complaints were the marshals were all over the place watching it seemed like every shot. They never said anything, just were always lurking in the shadows. Update 8/6/22: On hole 8 playing at 1 hour 37 minutes, a marshal comes up screaming that we're 2 holes behind. No one is behind us for at least 2 holes and we can see the group in front of us teeing off on 9. Played the front 9 in 1 hour, 51 minutes. Back nine was so slow, major backups and the marshals do nothing. Funny, my review from 1 year ago is about the marshals and they are still problematic. Management needs to teach them how golf works and when to speed people up and when to leave them alone. Round took us 4:24 total and by 16 there were 3 groups backed up.
Played it on 6/16. As advertised. I don't know why it took me so long to try it out. We spent a long day there, had breakfast before the round and dinner after. Service was great, the menus are diverse and reasonably priced, and the food was solid. Course conditions were basically perfect. It's fairly easy tee to green at 6500 7 tees though the long par 4s and the 600 yard par 5 are there to punish you if you can't get off the tee or struggle with your longer irons/woods. The greens and collars are perfect and I loved the expanded fringe, swales and pitching areas around the greens. Greens were quick but receptive and smooth. It didn't help me, but everyone else in my group putted well. The best thing was the atmosphere and lack of pressure. We were very rarely in close contact with other groups even on a Saturday of Fathers Day weekend. I could go on all day but won't. Bottom line is that we will be back soon and as often as possible. We all left more than content, though my guts were on fire a bit from the excellent bloody Marys on the course.
Beautiful flowers if you sit outside but terrible food. I tried it a second time because the setting is so pleasant but the food was just as bad. This was my last time.
Had a great day! The fairways are narrow and well manicured. The greens were very clean and tight.
