Amazing camp ground. Beautiful. I recommend.
This lovely site has plenty of camping and activity space under beautiful, mature oak trees. There is a large on site kitchen with walk in fridge and small freezer, which is directly next to the covered gathering area. This area has a small stage, many picnic tables, and lights to use at night. The bathrooms were upgraded a few years ago, and now include plenty of flush toilets and sinks with mirrors in a well lit structure. The open air showers are still there, now with slightly more roof. Really, although it's cold this time of year dress in layers, CA people!, it's really one of the most delightful event spaces in the Santa Barbara area.
Love this camp ground. Showers!!! Come here for shows/events/festivals. Easy to get to/navigate and just fun place and lots of beautiful.. you guessed it— oak trees… BUT also a lot of poison oak!
Great Group Camp area. Great facilities and close to Cachuma Lake, Wineries and Coldcreek Tavern.
I live the Van Life with my boyfriend and visit many campgrounds. This is one of the ugliest. It is just a wide open space. No "campground". No slots or separation. No fire pits. No dogs allowed although not enforced. We attended Reggae on the Mountain Festival. I have to say the camp host Marty is the absolute best! Love him! The outhouses were very poorly maintained. It is not The camp host's fault.
Went to Lucidity! Amazing in every way. Beautiful location, lake was full, weather was great.
The trees are majestic, the land is so breathtaking. It’s a wonderful location. I will be back !
Three day eclectic music festival benefiting local public radio in Santa Barbara every father's day weekend at live oak camp grounds called LIVE OAK. Great for families with children including young adults. Really eclectic crowd also of all ages This is the thirtieth year. Come for a day or camp all three days you won't regret it.
wonderful place to camp, spend a family time away from the pollution, noise and stress of the city.
Enjoyed a super time with super friends at a super secret camp rally! Excellent views! Cold cold mornings in November! Overall a nice place to camp if you ever get the chance to camp in the area.
