A loved one was in need of help, they called CMH the biggest barrier is getting to talk to someone and CMH just said they "only take madicare" and told THE CALLER to look up resources. This is complete garbage, for the "911 of mental health" THEY SHOULD TAKE THE TIME TO FIND SOMEONE TO HELP THE NEEDY. NOT JUST SEND THEM AWAY!!!!
I have been receiving services at CMH for about five years. I must say that my mental health issues are not anywhere near as severe as most of the patients receiving services here. Still, I have received case management services and counseling. I've been impressed by the compassion and professionalism of all the people I've worked with there,
