Placed an online order for cat food that was on sale and, upon pickup, discovered some bonus free samples same brand I bought, different flavor and a coupon in my bag all courtesy of team member, Sarah! In fact I met her when I picked up and she was super sweet. Great store, great experience!
I have never had an encounter as badly as the one I had today. A few weeks ago, I went in for the first time with Princess Leia, my new Shih Poo. Although I was a bit taken aback by the expensive prices, I went ahead and purchased two packages of treats for my dog. One of them was a package of bully sticks, but they made my dog throw up everything she had eaten that day. I no longer had the receipt, but figured that since it was a boutique pet store, they would certainly let me exchange the package for something else. I walked in and nicely asked if I could exchange the package because they were making my dog sick. Very angrily, the guy working there said, "If you don't have a receipt or an account here, I can't do anything to help you." I was pretty taken aback by the attitude and the answer. As I turned to walk out, he said, "Fine, I'll do it. You can exchange it." I found a couple of things to exchange it for and as I brought it up to the counter, I said that maybe I signed up for an account last time I was there because I seem to remember giving them my phone number. He then punched the palm of his hand with his fist! What the heck!? I then laid my original purchase and what I had chosen to exchange on the counter and said, "You seem like a really angry person, so I'm just going to lay these here and leave for good." Not only have they lost a customer, but I will be letting everyone know that there is possibly a dangerous person with rage issues working there. I actually felt unsafe with this individual near me. Even Kohl's lets you exchange something without a receipt and even without tags these treats at least still had a UPC on it but a boutique store that charges a lot more than most pet stores won't? Not a good look all around.
This pet food store can't be beat! Customer service is wonderful! Their expertise and help in the store make the experience so good.
New store manager is outstanding! Friendly & welcoming, helpful, and most importantly, he is knowledgable. Also, offered my pupper a much appreciated ice cream snack on a hot July day. We can't wait to go back!
High quality food and other products—you don’t have to worry about whether what looks good to you is safe and healthy for your dog. Staff always helpful and friendly thank you CJ. They have given us good advice about everything from switching foods to trying CBD. My dog loves going and gets excited in the parking lot—she’s always greeted with pets and a treat..I wouldn’t shop anywhere else.
Fantastic staff - wonderful customer service. Great selection for my three labs. They are product experts and truly want to help you make the best and most informed decisions regarding your pets and their needs. I don't know what I would do without Loyal Companion in Clarksville. They are like family. Highly recommend.
Loyal companion is my most trusted retailer for natural pet health. I have been shopping with them for several years, long before their sleek rebranding and change of ownership. The transition was smooth and a step in the right direction. The three stores I’ve been to are all fantastic, but the spaciousness, location and staff knowledge at Clarksville is unmatched. The manager, Drew, is happy to answer any questions and goes above and beyond to help me understand every solution or product. This guy is like a walking encyclopedia of pet health/nutrition - I trust him more than my local vet! I can’t recommend this store enough!
The folks at Loyal Companion really have taken the time to get to know me and my pets, while working through allergy issues with one of our pups. Whether it’s special ordering in something from one of the lines they carry that isn’t in the store, or just chatting about pet heath/wellness/diet, they always deliver an awesome customer experience and are incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
The only place in the area I go to for dog food! The staff knows me by name and remembers my pups, and they always help me work through ordering food for one of my dog’s allergies. I’m there at least once a week and have always received exceptional customer service - just above and beyond. If you’re looking for a store that actually cares about your furry family members, this is the one.
Drew and the rest of the team are outstanding. Always ready to offer experience-based advice, and do what it takes to ensure customer satisfaction.
