Very clean one bedroom trailer with all the features. Beautiful heated to 82 degrees pool, store, with what you would need. 25 miles from a Walmart. Arby's and gas 5 miles. If you have to stay in the middle of nowhere it was great.
Love the people, bath house super clean an decorated cute. Would have liked to see more trees an green grass. Would definitely come back, trying the pool today or tomorrow for sure :, we were back 2-15-2020 another great time... We are thinking of getting our own site in the next few years, when we get ready for retirement.
I currently live at M RV Resort and absoultely love it. Very peaceful and everyone is very nice and considerate of their neighbors. The employees go out of their way to help anyone that needs help or has question. i can even have my dog here and she loves being able to run and chase her ball in the huge field. I highly recommend this RV park even if you are passing through and need a lay over.
We have been wintering at this park for three years. We have made many friends and have enjoyed our stays here. Until now. The new manager made us feel like inmates rather than guests. Needless to say, our stay was very unpleasant and we will be taking our money elsewhere. Thanks to all our friends there. Be assured that we will be back once the "Queen" has been dethroned!
Our car broke down last night and we were fortunate enough to have had it break down right in front of this RV resort. Every person in here we have come into contact with has been a blessing. Everyone has been so helpful to us, and two of the residents had an RV they weren't using at the time and let us stay the night in it. I can't say enough good things about everyone in this park. The park is extremely well maintained, quiet, and the clubhouse is very comfortable, with plenty to do for entertainment.
We checked in after spending a month there with no problems and were put back on the same site we had before . But remembering that we would be in the direct hot sun, asked Brenda if we could move over one row to one of the 11 in a row empty sites that was not in the sun. The park was half empty, this was the first of March. She didn't seem happy about it but said "yes". I took a site in the middle of all the empty ones. I had 4 empty sites on one side and 6 empty sites on the other side. We went out for the day and when we came back, to our surprise and dismay, we found that Brenda put another RV right next to us. So now we had 4 empty sites on one side another rig next to us and then 3 empty sites on the other side of them! So that action convinced me that Brenda wasn't happy with my asking to move and took passive aggressive action to show me just who was boss. Thanks Brenda...we won't be back!!
We've been coming here for three years and always enjoyed it. But now a new manager has been installed, and she is running the park in a confrontational and vindictive manner. Gone is the friendly atmosphere, replaced by a web of restrictive rules made up as you go. They used to have a nice dog run, but it's now been padlocked because someone failed to pick up after their dog. They also have a game room, but you are not allowed to use it for other than park approved and organized games. Some rules are strictly enforced, and some are not - it all depends on the prevailing mood of the manager. What used to be a park bristling with friendliness, good times has turned into a place of intimidation and threats of eviction! It's still a place suitable for short term stays, but you might want to think twice before committing to a seasonal stay.
I reviewed this park over 2 years ago gave it 5 stars. Back then, the Manager was named Tim and we would visit our family member regularly. Back then, it was 5 stars because the park had "chemistry". People were happy, the park was full. Our dogs would play catch in the field. On my last few visits I kept hearing about the new Manager "Theada" and that "this was not the old MRV" I noticed MRV is not as full as it used to be. I came to visit and before walking in this very unfriendly woman came storming out of the office to say that our dog was not allowed. We travel in our Motorhome so are familiar that some parks have breed restrictions but since our pooch has been playing in the fields with our family members dog for the last almost 3 years didn't think it was an issue. I've learned in life it's not what you say but how you say it. This lady has the communication skills of a desert cactus. I rate that interaction with her as the WORST ever in the 4 years we've been visiting/staying at RV parks. I went back and checked my records and its' only been 230 nights camping at RV parks so maybe she is only the worst out of 50-60 park managers we've met. Our family member has been telling us she has been harassing him repeatedly, and even contacted his place of employment. we of course said "she can't be that bad". After our run in with her, I can not stress enough AVOID THIS PARK in Moore Haven Fl until they replace this manager.
This is our first time at M RV Resort. We are full time and winter in the south. This resort has spacious lots, many have concrete slabs. There are ponds through out the park, with fish & turtles. They have two clubhouses with bathrooms and showers. The only negative is that it is quite far from stores and restaurants. We stayed here in a 5th wheel.
Clean, pleasant people, has a fenced in dog area, clean laundry room, heated swimming pool althought the heating system isn't working at present time, big clubhouse w/ lots of planned activities, snack bar reasonably priced- beats having to drive someplace.
